New to waxing? Well here are some waxing FAQ's

🔸️How long should I grow my hair?

Well this varies from person to person but we need at least 1cm of growth or the size of a grain of rice. Usually around 3-4weeks.

🔸️Is it gonna hurt?

In a nutshell, yes. BUT the technique we use and the tight stretching of the skin makes it much more bearable and the more you wax the easier it gets! Each time you pull the hair out it damages the follicle so your hair grows back much finer and more sparse therefore resulting in easier waxes.

🔸️What wax do you use?

For all sensitive and intimate areas hot (non strip) wax is used. And for less sensitive areas such as legs and arms we use strip wax. All wax and products we use are high quality, premium brands.

🔸️I'm embarrassed to get my bits out, can I leave my underwear on?

Leaving underwear on just makes it more difficult to be able to see the hair growth, it gets in the way of the wax leaving a mess and you end up going home unhappy. I'm not here to judge anyone, over the years I've seen lots of different ladies of all shapes, ages and sizes. I'm simply there to give you a great wax and the best way for me to do that is without underwear.

🔸️ What should I do before and after waxing?

Exfoliate! Exfoliating before a wax removes all the dead skin and helps remove any ingrown hairs leaving you with a lovely smooth finish. After waxing you must leave the skin alone for 24 hours, so no products (shower gels, creams etc), no exercise, no tanning (fake or sunbeds). After 24 hours you can resume your normal routine but do exfoliate and mousturise well.
