Recently completed the first phase on this garden makeover.
The lawn was previously sloped and the raised beds were rotting and not looking great.
We dug out the slope and reshaped the lawn area, reinstated the raised beds with new sleepers, added the cobble sett border around the new lawn area and then laid new turf.
More to come on this project later in the year for phase 2. Watch this space.

This client needed an update to an existing raised patio area.
We lifted the old slabs, checked the sub base and dug out where required.
We then laid and compacted a new sub base and levelled across the whole area.
We laid large format exterior porcelain slabs and rebuilt the steps to access the house doors.
We finally reinstalled the existing steel railing.
Altogether a very nice project.

Absolutely fallen in love with this project we completed in Wetherby. The customer supplied the design and we did our best to create the garden they wanted. We think we nailed it and so did they!

The whole of the garden was transformed
- new extended decking with built in planting and lighting
- stunning centre piece with water feature
- extended slabbed area
- planting with herb swirl
- bin store

Our latest project completed! The main objective was to create a useable space for a young family. We removed around 100 tons of earth from this garden to create this amazing space. Really happy with how this project turned out.

Very happy with this finished project. New Indian sandstone patio and path leading to existing decking. New cobbled area with new egg chair swing set in. New lawn with drainage channels dug in to combat previous wet areas on the old lawn. All in time for the nice weather!

New driveway created for the homeowner. No more on street parking. Removal of lawn and bushes, regrading the slope to enable access, install sleeper retaining wall, laid groundsheet, compacted hardcore sub base and Cotswold Cream gravel to finish.

Nice little contemporary fence install. Ready for the driveway to be sheeted and covered with gravel in the next few days.

Recently completed composite decking and timber pergola built and installed around this hot tub.

Nice new summerhouse installed and painted in the corner of this garden. We reused the slabs that were lifted from a different part of the garden to make the base. The area in front of the building has been paved with porcelain slabs to match the main patio.

Large decking area, designed and built to make use of a previously unused part of a school grounds.

New paved access area for the rear of a school building. The building needed a hard standing area to be able to fully utilise the door that opened onto a previously unsafe narrow path.

Bit of fencing today. The old fence rails had rotted through and some of the boards were missing. The apple trees behind the fence were also leaning on it so it was decided to move the fence away from the trees by about 18”. Ripped out the old timbers, cemented in new posts and built the new fence. @ Yeadon, Leeds

Spent a few days on a garden clear up this week. A large overgrown area at the rear of the homeowners garden needed to be tidied up. Overgrown brambles and weeds chopped back. Fencing fixed up. Roots dug out. Groundsheet laid, sleepers used for border, decorative limestone chipping laid. This is now a zero maintenance area which the home owner will be placing some pot shrubs on. @ Baildon

Homeowner requested an area of their garden to paved for log and bin storage. Dug out the old half buried/cracked paving and replaced with new flags. @ Baildon

Before and after shots of stone sills on an old stone cottage. Several layers of badly peeing paint needed removing. Homeowner wanted bare stone so also covered with 3 applications of a water sealer to add some protection. @ East Morton

I’ve spent the past couple of days making a bench around a tree. Really pleased with how it turned out. You’ve got to spend time marking out and positioning the posts correctly or it makes the rest of the job really difficult as the angles can end up not lining up. @ Yeadon, Leeds

Quick little shrub trimming today. Some overgrown bushes needed a quick trim back to a manageable size for the homeowner to be able to trim more easily. 🌳 @ Guiseley

Little bit of curtain pole action today. You’ve got to check the measurements properly for full length curtains. Don’t want them dragging on the floor! @ Guiseley

After painting the walls and woodwork, a new carpet was called for to complete the room. Before I fitted the underlay, I fixed a couple of squeaky floorboards by adding additional screws and glueing the joints of the boards. Then laid the underlay and finally fitted the carpet. It really completes the room. @ Guiseley

So my walls in the lounge had a textured paint on. It had a kid of gritty finish. I have been putting off this job for too long so lockdown life fever me the perfect opportunity to get them sorted. Used the drywall sander with extraction to minimise dust. They came out really smooth. Filled any holes and knocks. Primer coat as the previous paint was dark and two top coats. Really pleased with the outcome. @ Guiseley

Finishing off the bathroom with some new flooring, a new bath panel and new scotia trim. All in a days work! @ Leeds
