Shocked to hear that this (middle para) happened to the ace Jo from the ace Knitting Circle at our Wind-up Birds and Seven Inches gig the other week. As if this needs saying in 2024, it is not remotely fu***ng on.

Scant consolation that the guy in question wasn't there for either band, he was just a random who'd wandered in. But even still. If you think it's remotely ok to behave like this at our (or any) gigs, then just f**k off. You're not welcome.

Darren Hayman , vocalist/songwriter from indie heroes Hefner, is coming to Leeds this month for two intimate solo shows where he'll be playing songs from Hefner's four albums for the last time for the foreseeable future. Darren Hayman plays songs from Breaking God's Heart and The Fidelity Wars on Saturday 15th October, and Darren Hayman plays songs from We Love the City and Dead Media as a matinee on Sunday 16th.
