๐I'm so happy that this fantastic home in Farsley has now completed and keys handed over to the new owner ๐๏ธ. This one has been quite a journey which turned into a very risky transaction.
We were put into a very stressful situation where we had to make the difficult decision to exchange on the sale only (to allow our buyer to complete on his sale and chain break) as their buyer had issued a deadline to complete due to them being given notice on their rental home. On top of this, our buyer had a portable mortgage with a 90 day completion deadline. My client's also had a deadline to move by the end of October due to school admission deadline.
To cut a long story short, our purchase then ended up in a chain of 4 which then resulted in another chain break due to the two at the top not being progressed. This scenario required a lot of liasing with the Agent that my clients were buying through to ensure the completion deadline was met so that all our clients could move and prevent the chain from potentially falling through which would have been disastrous to say the least.
Another stressful day on completion day due to monies being transferred late by our buyers solicitor and removal vans already waiting outside properties. Thankfully we pulled it off and a big sigh of relief all round ๐.
I would just like to say a very big thankyou, firstly to my vendors for putting their upmost faith and confidence in me for which I am so very grateful. They really did put their lives in my hands. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with too. I'd also like to thank Lisa Wilson Conveyancing for handling this tricky transaction efficiently and professionally and for keeping myself and my clients updated throughout.
