Now heres a car i havent worked on for a while!
E46 BMW M3 CSL.... always had a soft spot for one of these!
This very low mileage excellent example was in with us for the carbon roof and both carbon front bumper add ons sanding and down and re lacquering.
The roof and both add ons were past it, to the point where i was unsure if we could even redeem them. At one point a roof skin was on the cards, so me and the owner decided we had nothing to loose in giving it a shot.
Thank fully, we nailed it and it looks great!
We also removed a few dents and painted the nearside a pillar for a small chip/corrosion. Im sure we will see this beauty again in the future for more future protection.

2 Classic Mercedes 300SL's were in with us for some corrosion issues.
Both front wings replaced on both cars alongside small rear arch area repairs welded, epoxy primed, sealed and painted.
Both pairs of wings were second hand or re used, so we sent these away for acid dipping to give us a blank canvas.
After paint scanning most panels, it was clear that each panel was different shades as to be expected with the age.
So i did my best to match edge to edge.
We could have blended but doing all 4 corners means we would be into a repaint and that stage, where do you stop?
So we kept it simple! Both examples are in great condition and now sealed and protected for the future.

So here is a stunning Lotus Evora GT410 Sport that was in with us for a full front end refresh!
We dont see many of these in the bodyshop so it was nice to be able to work on it and put our stamp to it!

This BMW Z4 M40i was in with us after a kind person decided to key the side of it!
Although a massive inconvenience and unnecessary expense for the owner... we took the pain away by making sure it was back to its original form in a couple of days.

All setup for Ten Of The Best 2024! Lets have some fun!

The Nurburgring prep on our Riviera Blue R8 took place today! The car was already in excellent condition like every car we have ever had, so a 3 stage correction and ceramic coating was a walk in the park!
Nurburgring here we come! Well, Thursday! 😁
Looking forward to getting back out there!

This HUGE Dodge D200 pickup was in with us for the rear quarter painting.
You cant really tell in the images but the rear quarter is probably the size of a full side on a VW Golf.
Previously had a full repaint by another bodyshop in Skoda Race Blue. We matched it, painted it and sent it on its way.
Love seeing cars and trucks as rare as this, probably the first and last one we will see!

This stunning San Marino Blue BMW M4 Competition was in with us for its Nurburgring prep!
Consisting of a Vorsteiner rear wing (supplied by the customer) then on the next visit, we smoothed the front bumper and installed magnets behind the bumper to hold the number plates.
We are seeing alot more customers coming to us for Nurburgrings preps! Sometimes its for added aero and others its just to make sure their pride and joy looks fresh for the duration of the holiday. Either way we can help.

10 years ago today we opened the doors to our first bodyshop. Initially it was somewhere to work on my own Projects, whilst doing jobs here and there to cover the costs.
Within days we had so much work that we couldnt even get near the Project cars.
Although having the bodyshop we have today was the dream.... i never actually thought we would pull it off.
Even if it all came to an end (which im not planning) i would still be very proud of what we have achieved.
The plans of moving to the next level never fade in my mind, but i still need to form a plan to achieve that.
Lets see what another decade can bring!

Thank you to all of our amazing loyal customers both retail and trade, who have helped us create this ever growing brand.
Just as importantly, the team that put in the graft everyday to maintain the best level of customer service and quality.
We arent perfect as we are human, but the odd time we do get it wrong, we deal with it head on and make sure a resolution has been met without question.
That i believe is the key to a strong business and will always help maintain the reputation that can be so easily lost.

This Mitsubishi Evo 7 FQ300 was in for some extensive chassis work.
If you know these cars then you know the rear chassis legs are renowned for heavy corrosion, to the point where they reduce the structural integrity of the car and quickly become unsafe to drive.
We took on the challenge to replace both chassis legs including the rear cross member, with genuine Mitsubishi chassis legs.
This is a big job and was very time consuming, but the end result means this car is now ready for its trip to the Nurburgring next week and has easily another 20 years to enjoy!
We definitely dont do things by halves as most of our followers and customers know.
So its a no brainer.

Blade silver McLaren 570s Coupe in from one of our local dealers for the rear quarter painting.
Nice straight forward repair and now ready to hit the road.

More satin matte paint work on this stunning Range Rover SVR.
Someone had previously tried to polish a section of the rear bumper and the tailgate due to an imperfection, this is all good on a gloss finish but doesnt have the same effect with Satin or Matte.
Both the tailgate and rear bumper stripped, repainted and out the door.

Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (991.1) was in with us for a menu front end respray for stonechips.
This car was already in outstanding condition, even more so after a front end refresh.
Ready for the nice weather with a shine to back it up!

This stunning McLaren 570s Spider was in with us for the front end and rear quarter painting to McLaren specification.
Once finished it took a trip over to where it had a full Matte PPF installation.
We think it looks great!

This stunning Porsche Cayman GT4 RS was in with us for the roof painting due to a stonechip.
The car was ppf'd but the chip was underneath. The owner couldnt live with it so we removed the PPF and re painted the roof section.
Good as new and ready to go!

McLaren Orange 600LT was in with us for a door repair.
The door was fully stripped, removed and painted, then fitted, aligned and polished, ready to go back to its owner.

This stunning Daytona Grey Audi RS4 B7 was in for both rear arches treating for corrosion, then blending both rear doors, both front wings for corrosion then bonnet and front bumper for stonechips, alongside full rear bumper for repair and paint, with the rear diffuser painting in black.
This is a very well looked after example and is always a pleasure to see in the bodyshop.
Will be back for ceramic coating in a few weeks!

We had this 997 Carrera 4S Cab in with us for some paint work, after some kind individual painted over the stonechip ppf on each quarter panel. When the owner took them off to freshen it up, it took the paint with it also.
Whilst working to sort this problem it was clear the same person decided to fill a hole with filler inside the arch.
We decided to take them back, cut out the bodge and weld in a new small section on the arch, then removed all the sealer on the otherside to make sure there was nothing else, re-sealed and stonechiped ready for paint.
It now looks as good as it did nearly 20 years ago and ready to be enjoyed once again!

We called over to to drop a car over for PPF last week, while we were there we took advantage of lighting to get a quick photo of the RS6.
I think it needs some darker tints?
Still looks top notch for a 9 year old car with 83k miles on the clock.
Shows that if a car is well maintained and look after correctly, the mileage and age really doesnt mean much and smiles per gallon continue for years to come!

Great to receive our Certificate of Approval from McLaren Automotive.
We have worked very hard for this! Its nice to see it in the flesh finally.
Onwards and upwards!

This stunning Mercedes AMG GTR finished in Matte Green Hell, was in for a custom bonnet paint job.
The car arrived with a full carbon bonnet and the customer had better ideas.
Taken from the Black Series bonnet, we set about masking out the carbon to allow a gloss carbon finish then surrounded by Green Hell matte clear.
To achieve this without having a huge paint edge, we decided to mask up and lay down the recommended colour primer, then demasked and clear lacquered the whole bonnet, then repeated the process by preparing and masking, before adding the colour of choice, then sealing that in with clearcoat also. This meant the only edge you could feel was the matte clear to the gloss clear. Colour match edge to edge and gloss level matched, then over for gloss and matte PPF!
I love a challenge and this was definitely it! Very happy with the finished product.

McLaren 765LT in for an aftermarket carbon bonnet replacing for a new original bonnet.
These look amazing at the best of times, but Curacao Blue just finishes it off perfect!
***The carbon bonnet is also now available on behalf of the customer. Feel free to get intouch if you want this painting and fitting on your Mclaren 720s, 750s or 765LT***

After the red 997 Turbo left us, and the regret was sinking in quickly, we decided we should get the Turbo S where it needed to be....
So the GT3 wheels with Cup 2's, Bilstein B16 coilovers, X pipe exhaust and carbon steering wheel that had been sat waiting, needed to be fitted to drown the sorrows. It worked and im ready for the next phase..
Sits great and now Nurburgring ready!
Also got a great trade in against the original turbo wheels so not alot invested to get it where i want it. Rest of the parts were originally for the red 991 turbo that i killed last year so fortunately they all fit perfect on the Turbo S! Happy days! 🙂

Bentley Continental GTC V8S was in with us for the full nearside painting, OSR quarter painting and sill, alongside all the gloss black parts repainting.
Now looks as good as new and ready for spring (whenever that is) to hopefully enjoy some sunshine!
