Jacksons superbikes

To anyone who knows me I had a operation ( high tibial osteotomy) 8 weeks ago I was told to take 6 weeks off work I did a week , not because I wanted to but because I had no choice been self employed in this country means you fend for yourself , no help whatsoever, so when people say I’m crazy/mental/mad/or stupid yes in many ways that’s me ,
But think myself I’m honest/hard working/caring,
So when I get home and put my ice pack on and sit in pain feeling like s**te I question myself is it worth the pain everyday ?

Answer yes it is because I deliver a service and people need me , and I need to work as my dad and my grandad did , it’s in the blood ,
Got to say didn’t think this opp would be as bad as it was , and finally getting to my point my apprentice Matthew has been a great asset I give him a bad ride sometimes but all in all I couldn’t have done it without him , don’t get me wrong he’s one moody little s**t but that asside he has helped keep Jackson’s superbikes in business so this is my thank you to Mathew Martin John Jansen van Rensburg ( mouth full I know ) Matt for short , so when you come to my shop for repairs etc and see me hanging of a crutch don’t look at me look at him because he has kept this business a float ,
My wife and family have been more than supportive and I thank you all I love you all x
But when you see Matthew shake his hand because all though he probably doesent believe it yet he has talents , loyalty/passion/drive and ability
And most importantly potential

Any bikes fancy joining the Yeadon carnival parade on Saturday 13th July we are meeting at the shop jacksonssuperbikes at 10 am then going to make our way to the start at Yeadon town hall about 10,15 only a short ride but it is for Yorkshire air ambulance , everybody’s welcome so more the merrier
I will be having a stall with the Yorkshire air ambulance so even if you can’t make the ride call and see us cheers jacko

All bikers that want to show there support on 13 th July for Yeadon carnival will need to be at the Yeadon town hall at around 10 am at the latest , I will be there and would really appreciate as many of you there as possible , I do this for Yorkshire air ambulance, also have a stall giving away free stuff for the kids as well as a photo shoot on a bike , more the merrier thanks graham 👍

Yeadon carnival is on 13 th July and I’m asking anybody and everybody to join me on your bikes/scooters /to join in the parade ,probably an hour of your time and it’s a nice thing to do for the local community, we might even have a race bike for kids to sit on 🤞

Ok today I picked a guy up from L&B airport going back to northern island bought a great ktm duke off me , my mate had a problem with his back brake ( Ducati no surprise) but got it sorted , sorted a couple of jobs out , got home and helped wife paint our bar , that my friends is a great day , not for everybody but it was for me 👍
