Traced to a rotten core plug behind the exhaust manifold which required the turbo and dpf remove for access
New core plug fitted and and some fresh coolant
All sorted and back on the road

A 2011 Ford KA in for what should have been a straight forward job for a sump replacement but unfortunately since the manifold requires removing for this 2 of the studs broke off in the cylinder head
We decide the best course of action was to remove the front end to drill the studs straight with plenty of room
Studs drilled and retapped new sump fitted with a fresh oil and filter and back on the road again

One of today's job a Land Rover Discovery in for new timing belt and water pump and full service

Anyone wanting there car valeting when in for services please let us know upon booking theses are the dogs do an amazing job used by our selves for our vehicles. Prices list are there cheers

Recent job on a Vauxhall Astra with poor running, camshaft, crankshaft with synchronisation faults.
On further inspection with the rocker cover removed we found lots of slack in the chain due to the top guide breaking up and the front guide was completely missing.
Once the chain cover was removed and the sump, we found the oil pick up was blocked with the missing guide.
Also the retaining bolts that had sheared off from the guide were also in the sump have now been removed and replaced.
A new chain kit was fitted with new dephaser pulley's and it was back up and running with no faults and no erratic idling.

We are also doing free winter checks with all vehicles in with us just for that extra pieces of mind over the upcoming winter 🥶

The demand for mot's is high at the moment we are currently booking two and half weeks in advance.

Ford transit in today with a grinding and soft brake pedal customer thought it was a wheel bearing on further inspection we found the disc had corroded and split in half
Could have caused a serious accident if left unchecked
New discs and pads fitted quick road test and back on the road again

Vehicle came in with a noise at the rear
Think the wheel bearing has seems better days it had damaged the abs sensor and the stub axle also pulling the shoes friction material away from the lining
Unfortunately with the price of the parts and the age of the vehicle customer decided it was not worth repairing
