On tonight another restoration a rare Riley Motors neon sign. It was great to do another resto for Serkan. 9pm Quest TV channel 12 Freeview or Discovery+ 24th Jan 2024

The restoration of a 1929 advertising sign for Mazda Lamps. All that remained was the broken glass panel. What did I do? Armed with some old photos I re-created the cabinet and GE Mazda style lamps to light from the back. Clad in metal and framed and painted. I laminated the broken glass and repaired the missing paint print by reverse painting on celluloid film behind the glass panel. Now back with the original owner in their amazing private collection.
