⚜️ over 300 year old original staircase of a old vicarage we completed today

Over 3 floors, this staircase still maintains and stands with all its original features from the windows to the steps and spindles, this listed building required a lot of attention with very intricate and detailed work within the woodwork but also the large areas and high ceilings which makes this job more unique to your normal or common staircase🙌🏼

Fire damaged bedroom 🔥

Now newly decorated bedroom from what was recently fire damaged, we cleaned down all the ceiling which was covered in black smoke, with sugar soap, then 2 coat with zinsser BIN stain block primer sealer, the heat from the fire also caused cracks in the walls, which we scraped out and filled as you can see excessively! Some loose paint also was scraped off and primed with zinsser peel stop and a coat of zinsser bin and also filled out, all walls and ceilings were sanded for a smooth flat finish, both ceilings and walls then went through a 3 coat system for gaurentee coverage! Woodwork also prepped sanded down and filled for a nice flush finish and painted in a allcoat satin

The rest was painted in colour matched exact to the render which was in diamond, in high cover smooth Masonary sandtex trade, treating the existing render prep wise with exterior fill in the cracks, holes or patching, sealing edges with water based sealant! Stone window sills in white all coat exterior satin and gutter/down pipes, cladding and storage door in black allcoat exterior satin!

We stripped the walls of 30+ years of old dated wallpaper back to the original plastered walls, fair to say the paper was that old that it had routed to the plaster it pulled some areas😧

☀️ Perfect timing for exterior work! ☀️

Newly completed job in Pudsey, Leeds which had abit of everything that needed doing specific to what the customer wanted doing!
Guttering✅
Facia boards✅
render✅
Garage✅
Down pipes & storage door ✅

This job was 90% restoration work, the wood Facia board not been tendered to for nearly 15 years!🫣 flakey paint needed all scratting off and re-prepped with exterior filler, caulk and a good sand to resort any deficiencies or defects in the wood, the down pipes, had already existing paint which had discoloured and started to peel quite dramatically which same process was done with that, the garage woodwork was practically falling apart, we had to re frame some of the windows as the wood was unrecoverable or fit for purpose so we was able to create a new frame and installed it😮‍💨

This job had it all… look at the before and after pictures provided to see the transformation to the exterior of this property!
