Always nice when customers ask you back to carry out more work.
We competed the extension last year and we're back to do some paving in Indian sandstone.
We've also renewed the garage roof with Firestone EDPM rubber.
We think it compliments the new extension rather well 😍

Busy week getting some jobs boxed off....
Copings all laid,
Wash down and point,
Fully skimmed inside by the neat and tidy and now ready for the kitchen to arrive!

Productive week on our new extension we started Monday.
Old extension demolished, decking and patio removed, dug out and foundations poured.
Materials on site ready to start laying Monday!

Front porch finished today with the new sleek looking fitted.

Taking out the main brickwork and openings on this project to add new steel support and bifolds.
Finished in black with integrated blinds.

Existing beams now bolted together with new padstones installed, galos bracket supporting chimney and a new stud wall with door opening.

Small rear lean to extension to create a larger kitchen area. We had to cut back some of the existing garage to make way for the new extension. We reclaimed the old bricks and built in a smaller door.

A recent watertight shell including load baring wall removal over in Colton. All boarded up ready to receive the bifolds and pitched window above.

We've been busy in our Colton project getting walls down and lifting these heavy things in place.

Drainage and pointing to do and we're complete!

Abit of recessed pointing here using a chariot.
This is not the finish we are going for on these bricks unfortunately. We are only doing this as we have a wait on coloured sand so will be repointing it in coloured mortar.

Recessed pointing is not an ideal external finish in this country due to the top of the brick being exposed too much where frost will attack.
You'll see in on feature walls usually indoors or in warmer climates.
Shame as is really suits the rustic bricks we are using.

Had Mo and Ellis joining me on the trowel on this job and I'm very impressed with the standard.

Wrapping things up for our Xmas break this week on our colton extension.
Also had a few days clearing our on going church conversion ready for phase two.

Two storey side extension shell recently completed.
This included full hack off and re-pebble dash to make the extension part of the house.
Full re-roof of the front too that tied in nicely to the extension.

Not our first time working in the street and hopefully not our last.

We were well looked after on this job and I think that's what made it run so smoothly 🎂 🍵 ☕

Getting involved with another Instagram reno couple recently.

Removal of load baring walls and installing steels to create open plan living.
Bricking up of doorway and window to make way for a new full tall unit kitchen Wall.

We'll be following on the rest of their journey.

Really pleased with the smooth progress of our double story side extension despite the change in weather!

Couple of jobs boxed off this week so we're ready to install the main steels next week so we can take out the kitchen Wall.

Scaffolders sorted the lifts out so we can make a start on the pebble dash which includes the existing house.

We're also ready for the windows to be fit on Monday 🪟

Helping out on a kitchen renovation this week for a lovely couple in Moortown.
We installed steels and removed the intrusive brick column.
Amazing what taking away a little brickwork does for space and light.

We always come recommended by many structural engineers so get intouch for a competitive quote.

Had to hire in some extra staff today.
They all decided they wanted to be supervisors 🤣

The studio is all ready to go on the mega church conversion! Can't believe how it has turned out, from an old run down building to this 👇😍

Flooring down, 1st fix plumbing and electrics and we've even made a start on the boarding!

Productive week this week in the sunshine.
Blockwork complete and roof on ready to be tiled along with the fitting of the velux windows.

Had a lovely text off our customer too, makes all the hard work and stress worth it. We're getting well looked after here 🫖🍦🎂

Also a big shout out to our new apprentice Ellis who has done his first full week this week. From day one he has slotted straight into the team and we're really pleased to have him onboard (even though he broke my string line)
