We're currently recruiting for an Outreach Worker for 4 days per week to help us deliver a new project across Yorkshire.

Experience Community Outreach Worker
4 days per week, £31,200.00 Pro Rata (£24,960.00)

Based at Leeds Urban Bike Park, LS10 3TN

This is a peer-led position that would suit a person with lived experience of disability.

Purpose of the role:

To develop links with disability groups, educational establishments and other stakeholders
To give unbiased demonstrations of mobility equipment and cycles
To promote short & long term loans and sales of mobility equipment and cycles
To support disabled people to become more independent in their local community

👉Disability Hub & Additional Needs classes - May bring Pyjamas however the lesson can be completed without

Active Leeds are currently taking part in the pilot of a local communities survey providing insight into what Leeds residents think about physical activity, active leisure, active travel and sporting activities available in their local area. The survey will be done nationally across local authorities which will give us an opportunity to benchmark and look for trends.
Please answer the following questions about what types of physical activity you do, whether you have used a leisure centre before; and what you think about physical activity.
