The Furniture Hospital Leeds.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy one starting in North Yorkshire . Then heading to drop another load of tables off at a restaurant in leeds . Then off to another restaurant in Leeds to do a site visit and to pick up a sample table watch this space.

We were recently commissioned to undertake the restoration of all the tables at . THE AGORA greek restaurant in Leeds . As always on a time scale as the restaurant is open.

I have no worries about you using this as a testimonial. The work that you've done has brought an almost 40-year old dining room suite and dresser back to life in a most spectacular way. Personally, I like the new lightened wood and soft varnishing far more than the original darker colour, with the added bonus that almost 4 decades of scuffs and wear have now gone. Another small piece of furniture that needed a full restoration. This item was covered in colour varnish. We completely strip the old sticky varnish off then re stained. Then we re sprayed the item in a polyurethane lacquer. Finally we returned it to a very happy client.

Northern snooker contacted me directly. To ask me to Re polish 3 match tables for a professional tournament that they were hosting. This was done on a very short time scale due to the fact that they didn’t want the tables to be out of action for a long period. It was turned around in just 3 days. This is the end result.

This is a roller top desk. It has completely been restored and repaired. Also it has been fully polished

This armchair has been completely stripped and re-polished. We finished it in a 5% polyurethane finish. It is waiting for the client to collect.

These doors had years of paint on them . It was nice to start seeing the original timber coming through the horrible old paint. We then re sprayed them in clear satin.

This front door was needing a little bit of TLC . We first rubbed it down then re-applied a nice rich stain then re polished it.

This is G Plan sideboard had a nasty black water stain in the centre of the top . We stripped it back then re stained it to match in with the client’s original items.

This table has had years of sunlight damage. We stripped it and re-polished . The colour it was did not meet the clients specification. We stained it back to its original colour.

Here at the Furniture Hospital Leeds we have a new client. Yesterday we did a sample room at the bridge hotel in Walshford, Wetherby. Damaged furniture in rooms. More to come come soon watch this space.

THE BIG REVEAL

Today has been busy but rewarding .
The first job this morning was to prepare the timber by staining to get a nice rich colour. Second job was to drill all new holes for the new bolts to be placed in . Third job was to apply a waterproof finish to protect against UV (Sunlight), finally we returned the bench to the customer.

UPDATE

Garden bench progress removed all rusty bolts.
Prepared the metal support rail then primed and top coated all ready for the timber slats and new stainless steel bolts . Keep an eye out for tomorrows update as you will really see the bench transformed.
