On the 2nd July 2019, Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network was acquired by the Sano Physiotherapy Group and is now under the management of Sano Physiotherapy Ltd. Nothing has changed in relation to the services YPN provides, but any correspondence should be directed towards Sano Physiotherapy Ltd.

We have a vacancy for a full-time Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy Physiotherapy clinic in Chapel Allerton.
The successful candidate will manage our front desk on a daily basis Monday - Friday and perform a variety of admin & clerical tasks.
A friendly and welcoming manner and strong communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to multitask and enjoy working both independently as well as part of a team.
There will be an initial training period to be completed, after which you will be expected to hit the ground running! This is a permanent position with access to company pension scheme and other staff benefits.

This week we are introducing Dom!
Dominic Futter - Physiotherapist
Dom joined the Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network in January 2017 after 2 years working in a private physiotherapy practice in London. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2013, and has just recently relocated to Leeds. Prior to working in private practice, Dominic has completed 2.5 years working across London within the NHS, specifically at the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust in addition to providing care as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the London North West Heathcare NHS Trust encompassing Central Middlesex and Northwick Park Hospital.
Dominic has completed post graduate courses in pain management, sports injuries as well as being fully qualified in acupuncture.
Away from the clinics Dominic enjoys his time playing football and tennis whilst also trekking and cycling in the Yorkshire dales.
Congratulations to all of you who took part and completed the Leeds 10k yesterday! It was a great day and hopefully all of those legs are feeling better after a bit of massage!

Tony Boulter - Physiotherapist
Tony qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Bradford in 2003. Tony has since studied at Masters level also at University of Bradford. Tony has worked at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust since qualifying and currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in Complex Spinal Conditions and Spinal Chronic Pain. For the past 7 years Tony has worked as Head Physiotherapist for Dewsbury Rams Rugby League Club. Outside of work Tony enjoys exercising and spending quality time with his wife and 4 young children.
Just cementing the learning from the inservice training with the team last week!

This week we are introducing Kieran!
Kieran McMahon - Senior Physiotherapist
Kieran joined Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network in 2014 after 3 years working in private physiotherapy practice across the country.
He graduated from the University of Birmingham, which is also his home town, in 2011, and relocated to Leeds at the beginning of his career.
His philosophy is ‘to help people to help themselves’ through movement and education, and to provide effective treatment solutions to help people to realise their rehabilitation goals.
Kieran has acquired a wealth of experience in sports rehabilitation through providing services at elite athletics events and professional rugby league matches, and has recently relinquished his role at Wakefield Trinity as Head Academy & Scholarship Physiotherapist.
In whatever spare time Kieran has, he is usually found training at the facilities of our clinic at Primal Health in Leeds Dock, where he practices the sport of Olympic Weightlifting as well as generally attempting to keep fit and healthy!
A belated congratulations to the Brownlee brothers for finishing 1st and 2nd in the Triathlon series in Leeds! Congratulations as well to all our clients that took part on the day as well! Keep up with your exercises to help your recovery!

Chris - Associate Partner and Senior Physiotherapist
Chris qualified as a physiotherapist in Leeds in 2002 and has since worked in Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Primary Care Trust and managed three sports injury and private physiotherapy gym-based clinics in the North of England prior to joining the Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network.
Chris has experience working with elite athletes from a variety of sports and spent 3 seasons working with the Academy teams at Leeds United Football Club.
Chris also continues his post graduate studies and is close to completing his Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and is fully qualified in acupuncture.
When not at work Chris enjoys socialising, is a keen runner and spends time with his family.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be introducing a member of the team!
This week it's Jonathan Picot - Director and Senior Physiotherapist!
Jonny studied sport science and business at the University of Gloucestershire in 2000 prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist at the University of Bradford in 2003. Johnny has since achieved post-graduate qualifications at both the University of Bradford and the University of Salford, achieving a Masters with distinction in Advancing Physiotherapy. Johnny is also fully qualified in acupuncture (AACP registered).
Johnny worked at the Bradford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to the level of Senior Physiotherapist, after which he worked for the Nuffield Hospitals in Huddersfield and Leeds, along with carrying out private clinics at local physiotherapy and sports injury clinics. In 2007 Johnny established his own clinic, Farsley Physiotherapy, which later became the Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network – one of the most highly reputable physiotherapy clinics in Leeds and Yorkshire.
Johnny has a wealth of experience working in both codes of rugby and has worked for a number of teams including Leodiensians RUFC and at a professional level for clubs such as Gateshead Thunder RLFC, Halifax RLFC, and Leeds Carnegie Rugby Union. Since 2010 Johnny has also been employed by Manchester United Football Club as the Assistant Head of Academy Physiotherapy.
Johnny enjoys maintaining his own fitness levels, regularly competing in triathlons and has completed many charity sporting events raising money for local causes.
Great atmosphere at Leeds half marathon this morning, good luck to all those running. Come and see us for a free massage when you cross the finish line!
Huge congratulations to YPN owner Jonny on graduating with "Distinction" in his Advanced Physiotherapy Masters degree today. One of our other specialist physios Clare Gascoyne has also achieved "Distinction" in her Masters degree! We pride ourselves on the quality of our clinicians!
Great day spent promoting the importance and benefits of exercise in the workplace. 2 offices jointly completed the 103mile Stage 3 Tour De Yorkshire, Pilates and Deskercise sessions and a lunchtime walking group! Phew we'll all sleep well tonight, good work team!
