We're excited to spotlight Footprint Workers Co-op, a small workers co-operative specialising in Risograph printing.

Riso printing is a cost-effective and eco-friendly printing method that uses soy-based inks and a stencil-like process to produce vibrant, textured prints.

This worker-owned business is not just about printing – it's about empowering artists, activists, and local communities through accessible workshops. With support from BfGWY, they're evolving their unique business model to reach even more people.

Happy new year and thank you so much for all your support over the past 12 months. Like many small businesses, Its been a difficult year for us and amazing that we are still here, it's also been a tough one for most of us personally, with friendship and community creating glimmers of hope and joy.

Thank you to everyone who has printed with us and worked with us. It's no surprise to see that riso workshops and Leeds Zine Fair got some of the biggest likes this year. We love that we can help people be creative and share their art. We're proud of our lovely collaborative calendar and still have some left in our shop - link in bio.

Sadly the Palestine Solidarity is still as relevant as it was in 2023 and we will continue to offer subsidised printing for demos and other actions. Thank you for taking action and please get in touch if you need some. If you're unable to take action yourself, maybe you could sponsor some printing for others.

NEW WORKSHOP DATE 🐣
We’re running a beginner workshop in riso print on the 20/01/2024.
You will produce a set of collaborative prints through live collage and drawing as a warm up, followed by an edition of x20 copies of a two colour print of your own design.
