REPAIR TECHNICIAN – EDEN REPAIR CENTRE

We are actively seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and well-organised person, with a keen eye for detail to join Eden Repair Centre, predominantly as a Laptop Engineer.

This opportunity is open to the right candidate. This could range from a fully experienced Business Owner or Repair Technician looking to join a new environment, to someone at the early stages of their career with a desire to learn.

As a repair centre technician at Eden, you will work as a key member of the engineering team.

A keen interest in IT software and hardware is a prerequisite and you must be able to work as part of a busy team, while demonstrating good communication skills in working alongside other departments, customers and suppliers.

You will be expected to assist with all areas of our operations, including the thorough diagnosis, repair and refurbishment of laptops and other IT equipment. You will also be expected to assist with other business activities, such as processing of IT recycling collections, secure data destruction and re-licencing of refurbished products.

We work to SLAs with our customers, and you’ll be responsible for the quality of information logged into our ticketing system – you will be expected to accurately raise, update and close service tickets into our system in a timely manner.

A successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence. A good understanding of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel would be preferable, while previous experience in dealing with customers and suppliers would be preferred, but is not a pre-requisite.

This is an exciting time to join the Eden team. We have recently moved to new premises and will continue to expand the team and our capacity to meet the growing demand from new and existing customers. There is scope for the position to grow alongside the company.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity, ideally working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm:

- Competitive Salary depending on experience
- 20 days holiday each year (plus bank holidays), increasing yearly up to 25 days per annum
