Active Leeds play host to our very own Hyrox Simulation Event on Saturday 21st September!! Here’s what you can look forward to, there’s a category for everyone:

Singles; Complete the full Hyrox race as an individual, each of the 1km runs & the full workout on each station.

Doubles; Partner up with a friend or family member and compete the race together, each of the 1km runs have to be done together with the workout stations split between the team however you choose, can be done as a men’s, women’s or mixed doubles team.

Relay; Come together with friends or family and take in the Hyrox race as a team of 4, each member of the team does 2 of the 1km runs and 2 of the workout stations. Teams can be same or mixed gender.

Halfrox – A scaled version of the official Hyrox race with shorter running sections as well as shorter distances & lighter weights on the workout stations.

Taking place on Tuesday 24th September for Leeds Digital Careers Fair 2024 - at Leeds first direct arena is an opportunity for people to connect with an array of employers across the digital sector.

The event will be a fantastic opportunity to meet employers & organisations who may have courses, apprenticeships, jobs and other opportunities. There will be inspiring & informative speaker sessions, interactive sessions and the opportunity to network.
Everyone is welcome and the event is free to attend. Visitors can book a free ticket anytime between 2.30-6.30pm.

Just under 3 weeks, Active Leeds play host to our very own Hyrox Simulation Event on Saturday 21st September!! Women's Doubles/Singles, Men's Doubles/Singles and Mixed Doubles* as well as a Halfrox and Relay, there is plenty to get involved with!

Active Leeds is delighted to announce we will be hosting our own HYROX simulation event on Saturday 21st September!

Our event will replicate the FULL HYROX race format. With athletes starting in waves at 10 minute intervals completing the full structure of the race including the eight 1 km runs and all of the eight functional workouts at HYROX standard weights and distances. We will be running five categories, Men's & Women's Singles, Men's & Women's doubles as well as Mixed Doubles.

🏊‍♀️ On Wednesday 14th August 13.45-14.15 we will be hosting a FREE public swim in the main pool for anyone to attend (normal pool ratios apply when under 8s are attending 2:1 adult)

Images and videos will be taken throughout the session by both the STA and Active Leeds for use in the marketing and advertising of aquatics. Summer Holiday Gymnastics Camps at Kirkstall Leisure Centre

We have space on our camps next week so why not join our team of gymnastics coaches this summer for an instructor led 4.5 hours of gymnastics activity and a 30 minute supervised lunch break. For children ages 8-15yrs.
