When you're suddenly feeling the foliage. We've gone a bit harder on the houseplant front but not stopping there. Lots of handmade bud vases, thank you teacher planters (for you end of termers out there) and whole shop of more. Yay to the yay!

Did you know that on thursdays our event space has a fabulous Mum and baby yoga session hosted by A mix of gentle movement, breathwork, emotional check-ins and group energy healing - this is your alternative health answer to baby groups. 90 minutes of time for you.

This class is all about fostering a supportive community and facilitating inner peace for parents of babies from 6 weeks to one year. As such, the booking is in four week blocks to build familiar face consistency. It's the same price for twins. This queer-inclusive group is accessible to people who can sit on a chair or the floor and make slow, mindful movements with modifications for those who use a chair. The price is for a four week block, 90 minute sessions. This is the perfect class for people who tend to find baby groups over stimulating and prefer small groups, it is designed to heal and rejuvenate and provide the babies with stimulation and development.

The room is wheelchair accessible from the 1st floor Arndale Centre Car Park, but there are 3 steps up to the toilets. Floor based baby changing in the room. Physical limitations - the class will involve some stretching and controlled relaxing breathing. The movement can be done from your knees or a chair. In just a week today it will be fathers ' daddy sixpence of a day' according to Steven Toast. A chance to celebrate all the great dads out there and remember the ones no longer with us.

Growing up I never knew what a good dad looked like and it's amazing to see so many bloody good examples pop into FLF with their kiddos and to know so many as pals. So don't forget 16th June and if you are in need of some giftyboos we got you!!

Baby it's cold outside...well not physically anymore thank goodness but so many recent chats with fellow indie peeps have highlighted the very thing we all know but in the glare of the gram always forget, times are HARD for all!! And we are all just out here just trying our best to spread as much joy as possible in these times. I try to tell myself rain before rainbows on repeat.

June is always a bit of weird time in the retail world it's that mid point where it's always a good time to assess, take stock of the year so far and do some super planning for the future.

With a new baby in tow I can tell ya absolutely none of that is happening over here 😜 so while I am behind I am being kind to myself while making notes using the cutest stationery which most definitely helps. I mean just look at what we have in store 👀

Yum when the tote is giving big bag energy. Big colourful totes are where it's at, as a horder of things I enjoy a mary poppins bag situation and with this it can be achieved plus you always have space for unexpected shopping bits perfect for example you find yourself sauntering around a fab makers market like the one happening right now a stones throw away from our lovely shop .

Today there is lots of fab reasons to find yourself in Headingley today including heading over to our pals up the road featuring lots of ace prints by local makers inc .

It's a good day to support some local biz's also pinch punch and all that it's 1st of month annnnd my birthday too 😄 🙌

We've been thinking about new and exciting ways we can make ourselves more digestable ( stay with me the choice of word is relevant) because cute gifts and homeware is a great thing to have especially in Headingley Central but is it enough, could we do more perhaps have a little summer collaboration moment???? The answer is yes, yes we think so, we hope so!!!

Soooo.. a local pal sent me a rather excellent suggestion of something fun we could do at FLF. And the horder in me was delighted.

Introducing the curiosity box it's a free box of well...anything, available at our front desk. The idea being you can take anything you like and also feel free to pop something random back in. I've always loved collecting things (my bag and pockets know this) and I thought there must be lots of people who do the same so let's share and share alike I guess. Thanks Jam rags!!! 😊

Today we are doubling beb up so you can find us at 1st birthday and with our Headingley shop open admiring the race today! Good luck everyone a half marathon is no joke! Such an achievement

You've really got to hand it to British weather to go so quickly from big coat vibes to summery crops essentially overnight! But we are here now and I for one am loving it! Having the door open, the cool breeze coming inside, the non stop sound of ice jiggling around in ice coffees. Yup it's giving SUMMER! And we are ready to play.☀️

Fit by name fit by nature. We've got some new plants and have taken them outside for some alfresco fun cos' that's what ya do when it's warm outside☀️ yay!
