A rising star bodybuilder received backing from a leading housebuilder when Erris Homes provided a donation to support one of our customers as he prepares to compete in the finals of two national competitions later this year.
Luke Durbak, a personal trainer who lives at our Calder Mews development in Greetland, has gone from strength to strength since entering his first competition in 2022. He will be taking part in the PCA British Finals Expo in October followed by the FitX Finals in November.
When Erris Homes found out about Luke’s success, we were keen to help with the costs involved in maintaining his strict regime of training and conditioning. We have donated £100 towards protein powders which are an essential part of a competitive bodybuilder’s diet and nutrition.

The average British house price reached a record high in May, according to property portal Rightmove, with average prices of properties coming to market rising £2,807 month on month. The trend has been driven by a surge in pent-up demand from would-be buyers who paused their plans last year.

New research from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) has revealed some eye-catching statistics which underline the value of owning a new-build home.
The figures, based on the Government’s latest EPC data, show the difference a new-build home can make in reducing energy consumption and running costs:

☑️ An energy-efficient new-build house could save up to £2,195 per year in running costs.
☑️ Annual savings could rise to up to £2,575 for houses built to new sustainability regulations, from June 2023 onwards.
☑️ The average new build house emits 65% less carbon than older houses.
