Great review of Leek and Spout Cafe

Saturday goals 🩷. Leek in …a beautiful bustling market town not far from home, atop the Staffordshire Moorlands. With a glorious mix of huge mill buildings, Georgian treats & loads of independent businesses to relish, it’s a lovely mix. I visited in the week and explored the market, indoor market, visited Liz and bumped into Helen too - perfect 🥰. Then today I was back to enjoy a good catch up with at the glorious . It’s one of those proper coffee shops. Mismatched furniture (we sat on barber chairs), proper, yummy coffee, old school glass cake box full of proper homemade cake, yummy sourdough treats and amazing, smiley staff.

Why am I sharing? Well it’s nice to share the end of Half Term at Simply HQ, but mainly because THIS is what can be achieved in our high streets across the UK. Not necessarily fancy or polished but always something to see, someone to chat with, lots of indie food and drink options and lots of indie shops nestled in some bigger brand names. Easy parking, vibrant markets & a sense of being comfy in its own skin.
