A little weekly round up ❄️✨🍂 and a bit of an update.

Wreath workshops are starting to fill up, with only a few spaces remaining now. We can’t wait to be back with the insanely Christmassy and then a new gorgeous venue .13marketplace ✨ You know us though, if demands there we will try and add another date.

I can’t believe how Christmassy everyone is this year. Truthfully I’m here for it ❄️✨ our late night shopping event at Ashby this Thursday is the beginning of it all for us.

Thank you for all the kindness you have shown for our Ashby installation, you are all sooo kind. I’ve been at Ashby for most of today and it’s been lovely to see you all admire our work.

Shepshed has been buzzing with coffee orders today too, lots of dog walkers, which we love. We always make sure that dog treat jar is stocked up.

We are going to be announcing some fabulous pop ups over the next week too. Both that we are attending but also, some amazing small business that we are working with. Both at Shepshed & Ashby.

My final little update, is we’ve had our Christmas order arrive (eeeeeeee🫶🏻🎄) so if you are waiting for this, we’ll be stocking our shelves as of Monday! Trust us, this won’t hang around long.

The weekends fast approaching and it’s nearly half term ✨🫶🏻🎃

We’ve got a fresh delivery of cake and treats coming to Shepshed tomorrow in time for the weekend and a big fresh flower delivery arriving tomorrow too 🌸🍂 we have the coffee and hot chocolate at the ready for you all. Tomorrow is market day too at Shepshed, which is one of my favourite days of the week, so make sure you pop by.

Then Ashby is going to be the place to be this Saturday. We have the insane joining us 9.30-4 bringing some amazing vintage pieces, that you’ll be able to come and shop. We are offering a glass of fizz too while you shop, it is the weekend after all 🥂 I personally can’t wait!!!

Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow as we are going to be celebrating the half term next week with a few different offers and activities 📣 both for mums and the kids!

4 years and counting …

What an amazing achievement that is 🫶🏻✨ the last year of The Flower Lady has been the most rewarding but also the most challenging. The last year has been full of learnings and progression.

To think back to Abi 4 years ago, to put it politely she’d s**t herself to see where I am today. I’m truly living my dream and can’t believe my luck sometimes.

My team, I need to take a moment for my team… wow you guys. What would I do without you. Over the last year we have grown together and consolidated to a well oiled machine. We’ve tried and tested and we are conquering. I am proud of you all and you are my team, truly. I can honestly say, I adore you all.

I thought I’d tell you a little about how we actually started, on October 4th 2020. I had threatened the idea for years and on this day, I was meeting one of my besties and I made a promise to her that I would start it by the next time I saw her. Somehow I found the courage to just start an Instagram. We chatted about the name and debated on what to call it… obviously ‘The Flower Lady’ won.

Here’s to year 5, it’s time to move and start on the coffee cabin (opening tomorrow) we’re going to knuckle down and really enjoy the craft of flowers. It’s time to learn and invest in us and my team. It’s time to take some time to be a wife and enjoying working with my wedding couples. Frankly, bring it on.

🎃Pumpkin Flower Arrangement Workshop
📍The World of Design, John Lewis, Victoria Centre, Nottingham
🕰️ Sunday, October 27th 2024. 2pm-4pm.

During this event we will teach you how to create a pumpkin arrangement, along with other floral tips and tricks. The Flower Lady will bring a selection of fresh flowers and a pop of dried to ensure you get the most out of your arrangement.

All products are supplied, and you don’t need any previous floristry experience.

The Flower Lady, alongside, running this pumpkin workshop, we will have a pop-up shop. So, feel free to pop and have a look.

With every booking, you will also, have a £5 John Lewis Voucher to spend on the day of the workshop within John Lewis.

Friday, our COFFEE CABIN is OPEN at Shepshed. We have the gorgeously talented with us, starting at 10.30. This is also market day at Shepshed, so make sure to have a look at that.

Saturday, now this is exciting … both shops are open as normal but as well as that, 2 - 4.30 we will be with my besties for this autumn gathering. We will be bringing some amazing autumn loveliness with us 🍂 what’s not to love… candles, live music & flowers.
