35 weeks into pregnancy and I’ve finally found a swimming costume that fits my bump perfectly🤰🏼

I ordered this one from after months of trying on different ones that were either too high and the hip/thigh or not enough support or stretch over my tummy. The breast area could be a bit better supported/fitted but I’m at the point now where I just need to wear something or I’ll never end up going and I want to go to mother and baby classes once he’s here so kinda need to get a wriggle on a bit!

I’ve been wanting to go swimming for a while but like a lot of ladies I’m sure during pregnancy have felt quite self conscious of the growth of my thighs and the cellulite that’s increased along with it 🤦🏼‍♀️

So after a bit of a pamper this week, I booked myself in for a spray tan at .brow.lash.artistry to up the confidence to get the legs out a bit more now we’re approaching summer and I’m very happy with the result else I wouldn’t be posting a pic of myself otherwise. Everything feels better with a tan.

Sadly cellulite is something that I’ve always had and is hereditary. It is known to get worse in pregnancy and with me now being so heavy it is a struggle to walk and get exercise in so I’m hoping that swimming will help stimulate the fatty tissues and tone me up a little.

I’ve stopped eating McDonald’s this week after a bit of a protest about having to now pay for sauce in the drive thru 🙃 so that should help a bit too 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

I’m trying to increase the circulation in the legs by using creams and a hand held massaging thing, although I think a proper deep tissue massage might be more beneficial.. I might look into it but am also open to suggestions off anyone who’s had kids and/or the same cellulite/thigh issues what creams or treatments you’ve used that have noticeably made a difference. Please drop comments below to help a mother out 🥰

I discovered this b**b mask yesterday shopping with my friend in . I thought I would give it a whirl whilst taking some time out to self care due to having crippling PCOS symptoms this cycle🩸😭

If you follow my lifestyle blog you will be aware I post about PCOS and health stuff regularly on there. B***s need extra TLC especially leading up-to and during your time of the month because they swell up and ache which can be very uncomfortable to live with. This b**b mask was actually quite a relaxing thing to test out whilst sat back on my bed propped up on a furry hot water bottle, giving me all the comfort feels I needed to just chill tbh

The mask is enriched with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and aloe vera extract “to keep your perky pair hydrated”. This could be really beneficial if you get dry ni***es in pregnancy I can imagine or after surgery. I left on for 20-30 minutes as instructed and gently patted the remaining essence into my b**bs afterwards which leaves the skin silky smooth and moisturised without having to rub cream onto them - ideal if your b**bs are hurting too much to want to even touch them

Taking self care to the next level this purse friendly little treat is deffo worth a try, I think it would be good to take on holiday too especially if you like to sunbathe topless. Go get it girls 💕🥰😝

I made the decision the other day to cut my own hair but the reason behind this is a deeply personal one 💇🏼‍♀️❤️‍🩹

Last year was particularly tough for me. I won’t go into too much detail as to why but I spent much of it alone, isolated, skint, anxious, depressed, lonely, in mourning, traumatised & heartbroken.

Six months ago I couldn’t get out of bed. I didn’t want to be here & it’s not the first time I’ve experienced depression & suicidal thoughts but it was by far the most painful & dilapidating. Unable to work, socialise or even self care efficiently I became somewhat a recluse with only my cat as company for often weeks on end. I didn’t realise at the time because I guess when you’re going through something so severe you don’t notice the small things like your hair breaking off from being tied up in a bobble 24/7. I avoided people. I avoided the mirror even because every time I caught a glimpse I could see pain & sadness deep within me, even my eyes looked dull like a light had gone out inside my usually very bright and chirpy little head. It was very painful time. It’s taken a lot of hard work & dedication to stay on top of my health & be in the place I’m at now mentally 🙏🏼 Health, nutrition and mental health have always been top priorities. I consider myself a strong person but even the strongest of people need help sometimes & I’m a big advocate for it. I’ve had lots of it, more people should do it. Healing is part of growth.

I took some pics the other day (swipe left) before I decided to give myself a blunt cut so you can see the underneath of my hair where it was broken. I’ve been hiding it for months & giving myself weekly treatments to strengthen it. I feel 10x better for doing this, good hair really does make you feel better especially if you’ve lost it through illness so to have it looking healthy & fresh again makes the world of difference.

Self care is so important even when you don’t feel like it. Life isn’t easy & we need to give ourselves more of a break, self love & self care are a necessity 🙏🏼🥰

I’m a natural blonde and my skin is like a babies I have to be super careful what I put on it and don’t wear much makeup either for this reason else I end up with inflammation and redness. I couldn’t recommend this brand more and have yet to see what else they do, saying that I don’t even need to use toner from using this so it’s super purse friendly. It’s the ultimate glow up ✨

What better way to spend a Saturday. Fresh hair colour, fresh laminated brows. Considering doing LVL lashes too but I’ve ran out of lash tint so might wait til next week..

Brow tint and fluffy finish using the lamination technique 💕

kindly agreed to model for me yesterday to test out my tinting abilities. To start with we were a little concerned the tint was too dark and had to really work on the shape to create a softer more elegant but on trend style. I laminated the brows first before tinting - which in hindsight if brows are medium - long I won’t do again as we had a bit of a job to style them out following tint as I haven’t got my waxing kit yet or been taught how to thread so had to pluck each hair individually and in the heat yesterday it took a long time. Creating a more fluffy brow means you can go for the laminated look using product or you can just style to suit using the brow brush I provide with every brow treatment (and after care card)

I hope you’re happy with them today and they look good still. A new style can take a while to get used to but you got this girl 💁🏻‍♀️

I’m really into stick on nails atm because I just have zero time to do my nails working so much. How cute are these? This is a combination of two packs, lilac my fave colour and leopard skin print 💜🐆
They only cost £1 a pack and last ages surprisingly, I did them over a week ago and have only lost two on my right hand (index and middle finger) which are always the first to break/go because I write a lot. Deffo worth a shot if you’ve got an event and don’t have the time or money to see your nail lady beforehand. Perfect length as well, not too long. Recommend ✔️
