Candle making workshop
This was my first ever time to do these activities in an outdoor setting.
The weather wasn’t great at the beginning and the heavy rain made it very difficult to continue with the activities…but some children still attended.

As I mentioned in the Instagram story, I tried to take a good picture of the earrings but I struggled 😅

Today, let me talk a bit about my family as well as my handmade pens.
My grandfather is a carpenter⚒️🪵.
Though he is over 93 years old and has retired, he still enjoys wood crafting.
My mum loves creative art. She likes sewing🪡🧵, doing patchwork and treasures Japanese Origami paper art. She cherishes gardening 🪴a lot!
My father is a car engineer and is skilled in handcraft. He once made a garden table so that the family can all sit outside to enjoy some barbecue every summer😋
So I’ve always had love for things made by hand🤗
Here I am in the U.K. I make custom made items with real flowers.
I specialise in Japanese art.
The pictured ones;
Japanese herbarium pens.
There are real flowers preserved inside. No resin is used.
I adore each item I make but I just want to mention about the rose gold pens here.
The flowers are arranged like pink Lilly-of-the-valley flowers.
There are pearls in the pens that resemble droplets of morning dew.
I hope all the recipients are pleased with them!

ハンドメイド
小さい頃からハンドメイドに興味がありました。
私のおじいちゃんは大工さん。
階段作りの職人さんでした。
今は三線作りが趣味です。
父は自動車販売•修理工。
ガーデンテーブルからトラクターにつける専用のカッター、折りたたみ可能ベッドなど家族のためのDIYが大好きです。
母は手芸やクラフトバッグ、折り紙好き。沢山の小さなプランターを庭に並べてお花も楽しんでます。

ところで写真はハーバリウムペン。
どれも大好きで作った時の秘話や思いがあるんですが今回はピンクゴールドのペンだけご紹介しますね。
春の早朝に咲くピンクの鈴蘭をペンに閉じ込めるようにアレンジしました。周りに置いたパールは朝露の雫。
頂いた方々が気に入って下さっていますように☺️♥️

Japanese herbarium bottle making session for children
Japanese herbarium bottle has the flowers preserved inside.
It is for decorating the real flowers for a longer period.
If the base light is added, it can be used as a night lamp.
In the session, children arranged the flowers all by themselves in each bottle.
After that, they were so excited to pour the herbarium oil inside the bottles…as some flowers look translucent/ transparent when the herbarium oil gradually pe*****tes in to the flowers.
It will take about 2 weeks(some may take longer)for the oil to completely pe*****te in to each flower.
So it’s nice to see the process of the change after arranging the flowers in the bottle as the flowers look so different when the oil is poured!

ハーバリウムボトル子供セッション
「絶対可愛いく作るの。」「自分の部屋に置きたいからお部屋に合うような色でステキなボトルにしたいよー！」「本物のお花だから壊れないように気をつけて入れるね！あ、妹を手伝ってもいい？」などなど、楽しそうにワイワイおしゃべりしながら作ってくれました😊❤️
オイルを入れる時はみんな「わー！ドキドキするよー😆」と少し興奮気味でしたが入れて終わると「きれいだねー✨」と喜んでくれましたよ。
来てくれて可愛く作ってくれてありがとう！
次回は5人の女の子達とつくります。どんな色合いで作ってくれるのか楽しみです🤗✨

A little bouquet in a bag.
It is a new key chain that I made in place of the resin perfume bottle key ring I used to make.
It is a custom made item..for someone special or a pretty little treat for yourself.
Although this is a new creation, my feelings for it are exactly the same as every single item I make ...I hope it will bring a smile to my customers and recipients when they receive this mini bouquet 💐 in a little bag.

I usually don’t make a lot boys’ accessories but it was quite an interesting experience making these key rings!
