What a festive few weeks we've had! 🎄 There has been lots of Christmas activities for the children to explore and many invitations for them to create some lovely keepsakes for home. We have learnt new jolly songs for our Christmas sing-song. We were also lucky enough to be invited into Primary School to watch the Nativity play & the Christmas Pantomime, which our children sat beautifully for. Today was our Christmas Party with the brilliant Paul Williams & Co & also a magical visit from Santa himself! Phew Thank you so much for the cards and special gifts that we received, they are always such a lovely surprise 🥰 The Preschool team wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

The winning name choosen completely at random is Cinnamon. Charlotte is our winner and our Gonk Cinnamon is on his way to you. Well done and thank you to everyone for participating and thank you to the children who also made some reindeer food with us at the walking market, all the proceeds will go towards the preschool. It was lovely to meet so many people.

We have had lots of Easter themed fun this week with Easter cake making, egg hunts, Easter crafts, Easter playdough & even Easter Bunny yoga! 🐰 Thank you to all the parents who helped to creat some fantastic Easter Bonnets, they were amazing & the children were all so proud of them! 👑 We wish everyone a great Easter break x 🐣

January can feel like a long month 🥶but luckily for us, that has meant that (along with welcoming even more new children) we have had lots of time to fit in so many fabulous things! ☺️ Exploring numbers, colours and shapes has meant that the little ones have had some lovely activities to get stuck into. Colour mixing, building balance beams, creating shapes from playdough & lolly sticks, shape recognition and number games, our outside area was decorated with a beautiful chalk rainbow and there has been lots of messy play! 🌈 We have also been keeping an eye on our bird feeder and watching out for feathered visitors, we even threaded some feeders of our own to take home 🦜……. a jam packed few weeks 😅 x

It might be a little too early for some (it’s still November after all 🙈) but with just under 4 weeks till the end of term, we do like to make the most of our lovely tree, which has been beautiful decorated by our little helpers 🥰
