Hello, I would like to say thank you to all the parents and their amazing children I have had the pleasure to get to know in my time at preschool. It has been an honour and privilege to share the children’s learning journeys with them. We have had the best time, and I am so lucky to have wonderful memories to treasure. I am looking forward to the next chapter but will miss my lovely work family and especially the children, who have made this the best job to have.
Thank you so much for all the good wishes, gifts and cards. I really appreciate them. I hope you all have a good summer and wish you all the very best,

“Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!” ☀️

We have had a dino takeover this week! 🦕🦖 With ice eggs, buckets of dinosaurs, volcanoes, letter and paint footprints & baking! Phew! 🤩

A great end of term week with “The Tiger who came to Tea” We had so many invitations to play- from making tiger food and painting our own tigers, to figuring out prepositions! 🐯

This week the children have absolutely loved getting hands on with our Farm theme activities! Milking a cow and hooking ducks has been great for strengthening and supporting muscles and also improving hand eye coordination! 🐮

We would like to send a great big Thank You to Csb Timber Ltd who have so kindly donated the materials for us to make the wooden hooks for our Hook A Duck activity! And to Procraft Design Limited for putting them together for us 🤩
The children are loving it 🦆

Following on from our Hungry Caterpillars last week, the children have been exploring “Growing” 🪴 Measuring each other, weeding our garden, planting herbs in our new herb wall and lots more 🤩

Dear friends!
If anyone has any old metal pots, pans, cake tins, pudding tins, cupcake trays, sieves or untencils that they no longer need, our children would love them in our mud kitchen.

Following the children’s interests, we have been exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar story! 🐛🦋

Parents please remember to update your DERN funding codes (3year olds plus) a few children were nearing the cut off grace period ending 31st March. If your finding code expires you will not get the full 30hours funding for the summer term, and will only receive the 15. Please check as we can't do anything if it expires and the DERNs are the agreement between parent's and the council. An email should have been sent to say it was nearing the end of its grace period but can everyone please check. Thanks Lizz.

These last two weeks we have been very busy with all things Easter 🐣.
We hope you all have a lovely Easter break 🤩

We were very lucky to have some frogspawn lent to us by John Harmer! The children were very interested, asking lots of questions and spotting the difference in size after a few days! They all spent ages looking at them, desperately willing them to turn to frogs 🐸

This week we looked at activities around The Rainbow Fish & Tiddler books 📚 🎣

This week we have been looking at Supertato! 🤩

Just before half term we looked at Pancake Day, Valentines Day & emotions. 🥞 ❤️
