As mentioned in our last post, we are working on the site daily. A few teething issues this morning so for those who have already placed an order, emails have been sent out to you and thank you!

We are limiting the items available so that we cab fulfil the orders and the marinades on the site are our most popular ones. Keep checking in for videos of us preparing the marinades and curry pastes and to see how easy it is!

After over a year out we are back. For the past year we have been thinking of how we can move forward with The Friday Kitchen. Although we are not able to cook fresh curries for you we are proud to offer our curry pastes and marinades for you to cook at home. We are also offering pre marinated BBQ foods (which you can cook in the air fryer or oven). The website is new so bear with us while we continue to make improvements. Please do take a look at our website, leave a review if you have ordered from us before and share with your friends and family. We are here to answer any questions you have and take on board any feedback to help improve our service.

Good Morning ,

On the menu this week is our chicken and vegetable biriyani. Cooked in our unique blend of spices topped with long grain rice, fried onions and coriander. This one always sells out so get them orders in quick!

Paneer Makhani is also on the menu. This is cooked in our homemade makhani sauce, we roast spices, make a sauce using tomato’s and blend in with a little butter. Our popular Pav Bhaji is back this week, if you fancy indulging this Friday this is your go to dish! A traditional Mumbai street food using a mix of vegetables which is cooked down and mashed slightly served with 2 bread buns which are lightly toasted.

Good morning all

Apologies for the delay in getting the menu out. This week we have Lamb Curry which is available on the bone on request. We have tried out a new recipe last weekend for Masala Chicken which we grilled and put in pitta wraps. Amazing! We serve it with salad and tahini sauce. We do have chilli sauce so please state what you would like it served with. You can have both!

Keep an eye out on Instagram for a Salmon Curry dish I made on Saturday, packed with flavour and cooked differently to how we usually make our dishes.

Good Evening All,

This week we have a few new dishes on the menu for you to try. Seekh Kebabs are available with either mince chicken or lamb (we prefer lamb!). We also have Chicken Karahi which will be cooked to order. This dish is slightly dry with not too much sauce and is packed with flavour. Finally, we have the tandoori veg sizzler with the paneer and potatoes seasoned in our homemade tandoori marinade then cooked in a high heat to give it that little char.

Our Tandoori wings is always a sell-out, juicy, crispy and goes down well with a cold one! This is also available boneless on request.

Good Morning!

This week we have Chicken Achari which is cooked using pickles, if you like a slight tang to your curry then this one is for you. We also have Lamb Keema this week, I love this dish! Not so soupy but packed with flavour!

For the veg options we have Chana which is a chickpea curry and we also have Vegetable Biriyani, this one sells out quick. Cooked with vegetables and paneer in our homemade sauce topped with long grain rice, saffron water, fried onions and coriander (if you prefer without then let us know).

Can I ask a favour, if you have ordered from us before and enjoyed the food, please let your friends and family know. We also are doing a cook in your garden catering service. If anyone is interested in how we marinate, cook our curries and BBQ foods and want to come along and cook in our garden with your friends/family, get in touch, we have something exciting planned for the Spring/Summer months!

Good Morning All,

Firstly apologies for the delay in getting the menu out. This week we have Chops on the menu. Using British Lamb, they are marinated in our secret recipe of 15 herbs and spices. They are a treat!

Chicken Saag and Lamb Curry are our non veg options and Tadka Daal with Saag Aloo as our veg options.

We also want to make you aware that we are also taking bookings for events in your garden this summer, so if you fancy taking the stress away from marinating and cooking then give us a call for food and pricing. Good Morning!

We are back this week with a few of our tastiest dishes. The Jeera Wings are one of our most popular dishes, if I had a £1 for each time someone asked me for the recipe, I would probably retire! Jokes aside, I like these with a cold one on a Friday night, feet up and indulge! If you prefer boneless then let us know when ordering.

Our Tiger Prawns are a must, a little sweet, tangy and very moreish. If you like you seafood, then this is a must.

For those who have had our Butter Chicken there is not much to say, creamy, a little spicy and the chicken is grilled before mixing in with our homemade sauce.

Good morning all,

We are back this week after a break and have some of our favourites on the menu. The Lamb Chops are cooked using 100% British cooked in our secret homemade marinade. Butter Chicken always goes down well, the sauce is cooked and blended and then tandoori chicken is added, its Hiral's fav!

Lamb Curry is available on the bone and boneless, please request which you prefer. We have had a couple of customers asking if there will be a menu for Christmas Eve, the answer is yes.

Finally we have been asked to provide food for 50 people for an event for Doctors and Nurses at Glenfield Hospital which we are extremely happy about! Thank you all for your support this year, and as Christmas Eve and New Years Eve falls on Fridays we will still be catering and if you are planning an event and would like some food for your party, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Hi All,

We don’t use base sauce! Most restaurants use the same base sauce for all their curry’s, we don’t. We cook our curries individually which gives each dish its unique taste. Look out for our article on this and how we differ from your usual takeaway!

Lamb Curry on the menu, we know this was on a few weeks back but we have had some requests for it. Prawn curry cooked with tiger prawns and a couple of tasty vegetarian dishes!

Good morning all,

Better late than never! Butter Chicken is on the menu this week, cooked in our homemade recipe the chicken is then grilled and added to the sauce. We also have Jeera Chicken as a starter. If you like something tasty, tangy with a little kick then this is the one for you, especially with a cold one! Saag Aloo and Tadka Dal are also on the menu this week. We will extend the 'deadline' for orders until Thursday this week.

Hi All,

We are back this week and its The Friday Kitchen's 1 year anniversary this week! As a thank you to you all we are offering EVERYONE 10% off your final bill so why not treat yourself!

We are still offering the marinated foods (which is going down a treat!). You can order to cook on the BBQ or to grill/oven cook, we will provide instructions on best temperature and ways to cook.

Our classic chicken curry is back on the menu together with prawn and saag paneer. For allergens and ingredients, please contact us prior to ordering. We do not use nuts in our ingredients for any of our dishes.

Hi All,

Biriyani is back on the menu this week. Cooked using our secret spice blend, biryani is always a sell out so get them orders in early!

WE also are offering Jeera Chicken which is on the bone but boneless is available on request. This starter dish is one of my favourites, full of flavour and cooked by sautéing partially ground cumin and black pepper, goes well with an ice cold drink!

The Lamb Curry is slow cooked for 3 hours, the whole process to cook this dish takes around 5 hours and you get melt in your mouth lamb pieces.
