Our Harvest Festival this morning with members of the local church ⛪️ 🙏

Rob was back to entertain us and lift our spirits from the awful weather we are having at the moment. As always Rob charmed our ladies, sang to them and even danced with those who were able. We had a fantastic afternoon which went far too quick. Thankyou and we’ll see you soon 😘

The last month has flown by and so we welcomed back Hannah from Boogie Beatz leading us with our monthly exercises 💪 🎶 plenty of stretching & moving along with singing.

Over the years we have looked after many people from different walks of life with many a story to tell. As a nursing home we have always tried to focus on people’s abilities. Those abilities are encouraged and at times grow. These are the efforts of one of our talented ladies 🤩 who we have now challenged with some Christmas drawings 🎅🏻

The fabulous Kerry Jean was back to entertain us today bringing some musical memories, fun and dancing.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to our recent fete. Although the weather was against us and our fete was smaller than we had hoped we still managed to raise £564.30 for our residents comfort fund. Thankyou all once again & thanks to all our lovely volunteers who helped pull off another successful event 😘

THIS SATURDAY 7th SEPTEMBER @2.30pm
Due to the ever changing weather we will be holding the fete both in the conservatory and the games outside. Hoping the weather is kind but either way we will still go ahead & enjoy it raising money for our residents comfort fund. Come & chance your luck on our tombola & wine or water, grab a delicious treat or a bargain on our bric a brac plus more. Bring your family & friends. EVERYONE WELCOME.

Afternoon tea in aid of Breast Cancer

Hannah from Boogie Beatz was back with this months exercises and she certainly put us through our paces. We moved & stretched as we sang along to some great tunes.

As always a brilliant afternoon in the company of Karl. We sang, we danced and moved in our chairs to the music giving us a great atmosphere. Residents and staff joined in with the dancing including a conga which was watched by our director 🤦‍♀️ Many thanks Karl for an enjoyable afternoon ❤️

Very often we receive praise for the care we deliver for our residents and today was no exception. We would like to thank the family of Marion for the kind & generous gifts of plants for the managers & chocolates for the staff (who did share them with our residents) on her smooth & welcoming admission. Many thanks ❤️

Rob returned to start our entertainment for August. We had a brilliant afternoon singing, dancing & celebrating a birthday. Rob was as always charming our ladies & made each of them feel special as he serenaded them. Thankyou for a great afternoon as always Rob see you soon 🥰

We are very sorry to announce that Due to unforeseen circumstances our summer fete is postponed & will be held at a later date to be arranged. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Today we had a little gathering to say goodbye to one of our carers. Carol has decided after 27 years that it was time to put her feet up & enjoy her retirement. We all wish you the very best in the future and a long and very happy retirement

😥 Hannah certainly put us through our paces today with our monthly exercises. Once again we stretched & moved to some great tunes also exercising our vocal muscles as we sang along. Well done everyone 💪 🎶

Today we were in the company of Richie who performed many of the greats for us. We sang, we clapped & moved in our chairs and those who were able to enjoyed a dance or 3. We were even joined by some residents who prefer not to attend the shows and said they had enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks to Richie, staff, visitors and our lovely residents for a most enjoyable afternoon ❤️

A lovely afternoon spent in the company of John Kellow. We sang and danced to some great old familiar songs giving us a most enjoyable afternoon.

Another brilliant afternoon! This time we were in the company of the delightful Kerry Jean. We had an afternoon of Soul and Motown with plenty of singing, swaying, clapping & dancing. Kerry enlisted simply the best help with a song of the late Tina Turner before sailing into the sunset with a Rod Stuart song. 🎶
