🇵🇸 National March for Palestine 🇵🇸
🗓 Saturday 3 August, 12 noon
📍Assemble at Park Lane and march to Whitehall
Since the Labour government came to power two weeks ago, Israel has intensified its strikes across the Gaza Strip. Israel have killed near 39,000 Palestinians, with the real number much higher.
In the past few weeks, we have seen deadly bombings of “safe zones”; evacuation orders that affect 250,000 people in Gaza City; the evacuation of several hospitals and many other Israeli crimes.
Meanwhile, Keir Starmer’s government continues the UK’s complicity in genocide by selling arms to Israel and obstructing international efforts to bring its leaders to justice.
Join us Saturday 3rd August, to demand that the new government stop arming Israel and use all means at its disposal to end the genocide.
See you there!
🚨 Email the Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, to demand the UK government end arms sales to Israel 🚨
We want to make it clear to Foreign Minister David Lammy that we will not settle for empty promises or rhetoric. We demand that he immediately end Britain’s complicity in the ongoing genocide by imposing an arms embargo on Israel and using all diplomatic and economic means possible to pressure them into accepting a ceasefire and ending the occupation. We also want the new Labour government to uphold its commitment to international law by immediately dropping the UK’s legal challenge, which obstructs Israeli leaders from being brought to justice by the International Criminal Court (ICC), and supporting South Africa’s court case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Let's put pressure on Foreign Secretary David Lammy by sending him an email today.

Yesterday’s election was a tectonic shift in British politics. Widespread dissatisfaction at the Conservative’s and Labour’s stance on Palestine and the ongoing genocide in Gaza saw an unprecedented shift towards pro-Palestinian candidates, both running as Independents and within smaller parties.

🚨 10 days until the Election 🚨
With the General Election only a week away, we can use our vote to help end the genocide and support candidates who call for an immediate ceasefire and a free Palestine.
We can send a message to those who failed to support the ceasefire vote in November, that we will not reward their complicity with our votes.
We are asking you to use the link to our prioritise Palestine election campaign to email your local candidates to understand their stance on four key issues (BDS, halting arms sales, supporting the ICJ case and Israeli apartheid) and use it to make an informed decision about who should get your vote.
We want to make it clear to those who want to represent us that Palestine is a vital political issue, both at the polls and beyond.
Join Friends of Al-Aqsa in Prioritising Palestine on 4 July and making your vote count!

🚨 *BDS WIN 🏆 - Pret A Manger cancel plans to open branches in apartheid Israel*
◾️British coffee shop chain, Pret A Manger, has cancelled its planned investment in Israel.
◾️Last year Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA) launched a campaign against Pret after they signed a franchise agreement to open 40 stores across Israel over the next ten years.
◾️Thousands of Friends of Al-Aqsa supporters voiced their disapproval for Prets planned complicity to the CEO. The CEO ended up blocking incoming emails from the FOA campaign website! FOA also called for local actions outside Pret branches across the UK with a pressured call to boycott Pret if they went ahead.
◾️ Pret's decision sends a powerful message, if any company supports occupation and genocide then the complicity will be met with boycott and robust actions.
◾️This win is a hugely welcomed end to FOA's and FOA thanks all its supporters who made this victory happen for Palestine 🇵🇸
◾️Let's continue strong and push on with our campaigning for a free Palestine ✊🏿

Coca-Cola violates International law by operating in Atarot. Atarot is an illegal Israeli settlement that has been built on land stolen from Palestinian families.

The government's lawyers have said Israel is breaking international law but the government is hiding it.
This can have a massive impact on relations with Israel. Most immediately by having to stop arms sales to Israel.
This is big news but the government will hope people won't notice and make any noise about it, but they are wrong...
Please can EVERYONE email their MPs and share in your networks.

Sign the Boycott Coca-Cola pledge
With Ramadan underway, many of us are trying to cut things out that aren't good for us. Something that definitely isn't good for us AND is complicit in the oppression of Palestinians is Coca-Cola.
Coca-Cola owns a factory in Atarot. Atarot is an illegal Israeli settlement built on stolen Palestinian land.
Whilst Palestinians are suffering this Ramadan, the least we can do is make a pledge for Palestine to stop buying and drinking Coca-Cola.
👉🏽 Make a pledge and share so others can pledge this Ramadan too https://www.foa.org.uk/campaign/boycottcocacola?Pledge
