Leicester Mela Festival is set to be bigger than ever, running over 2 days. To help with the celebrations, we are looking for an enthusiastic team of volunteers to help, as well as get invaluable experience in festival organisation.

Dates: 17-18 August 2024

Volunteers must be 18+
No prior experience is needed.

Please note this is an unpaid opportunity, however, we will provide all volunteers with a meal and a reference for their CV.

Leicester Mela Festival returns to Abbey Park for the first time in 20 years! Community news update for your area

Returning to Abbey Park for the first time in 20 years, Leicester Mela Festival will be bigger than ever with a 2-day celebration of authentic Indian arts, culture and entertainment.

Abbey Park will feature a main entertainment stage, with headliners

& many more to be confirmed

There will also be the Mela Bazaar, a DJ tent, kids village, food, funfair, performers and more!
