Logo vs Mockup:

Some persons don't understand this design concept so I'll explain with a recent design I just made
A logo is the actual design usually in 2D while a mockup is a simulation of how the design looks in use (3D).

Think of it like a picture frame (logo) and a photo of the frame on a wall (mockup)!

After designing a similar flyer for a client, my mum placed a demand for hers 😀. I was happy to oblige and create something special for her catering service. I started first with crafting a logo for her.

Hey friends, I've been MIA for a while but fear not - I haven't gone off to join a secret ninja clan (at least not yet 😜). I'm glad to share a recent design I made for an NGO that's working to host a female talent exhibition. It was such a great experience to work on this project that's geared towards empowering other women and showcasing their talents.

Recently, we had the opportunity to create a flyer for NGO's upcoming event about reparenting. This event aims to provide valuable insights on how to foster personal growth by understanding and overcoming childhood trauma and is targeted towards the youth. The flyer we designed uses warm and engaging visuals to draw attention to this important cause. We're honored to have been part of this project and look forward to creating more designs that support positive change in our community.

While Zeldman's quote focuses on the importance of problem-solving in design, It's worth to note that design rules and principles do inform the choices designers make. However, they're not rigid as some of the most innovative and influential designs in history have challenged or even broken traditional design rules.

Today, we're thrilled to share with you our first-ever album design project🎉While this project was a labor of love, it also presented a unique challenge- working with low-quality images provided by the client. Through a combination of Photoshop's image-enhancing tools and creative design techniques, we were able to transform the image into stunning artwork that enhances the overall album experience.
