Sessions like these really allow you the opportunity to delve deep into a song and peel layers and experiment with different feelings/emotions in a safe and secure environment!!

Jodie is an established Musical Theatre actress, having led West End and touring productions of Bonnie & Clyde, Wicked, Six and Heathers (way too many productions to list). Jodie is currently filming as new series regular Lily Vernon in Emmy-nominated BBC series Malory Towers.

Jodie is such a wonderful practitioner and she has an infectious love for the industry and this is shown in the way she coaches young people so successfully with the Jodie Steele Associates Elites programme

Sarah’s passion has always been her craft and her wealth of knowledge acquired over 35 years is something she gets great pleasure from imparting to the next generation. Sarah has performed all over the globe, from the West End, National Theatre and repertory theatre in productions as varied as Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd to the Duchess of York in Richard III. Sarah has also directed over 30 productions around the world, New York, London and beyond. She was Head of Voice at Performers college and has guest Directed at many conservatoires including Bird, AMTA and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and is very proud to be the patron of Academie Superieure de Theatre d’Anjou in Angers France for the past 3 years. Sarah ran CURVE YOUNG COMPANY in Leicester for 3 years, directing 11 productions culminating in the 109 strong cast production of Fiddler On The Roof. Sarah has run her own Nominated Company Black Sapphire Productions for the last 8 years specialising in writing and directing bespoke Cabaret for established West End and Broadway performers.

Sarah brings a wealth of performing and directing experience and beyond this she teaches musical theatre at professional institutions nationally and as such guarantees progression and improvement with your involvement in this Acting Through Song workshop (14th August, 2024.)

God knows what they’re doing under there!! This week has seen loads of click track recording for upcoming shows! It’s great that I can do this anywhere… but not every space is recording friendly… and as such a little fort needs to be built!! 🤣

Opening night for this group who have worked so hard under really difficult circumstances to bring you Legally Blonde! Looking forward to it!!

Just at the for for at and it presents a new challenge for me. Instead of waving my baton I’m triggering tracks and sounds. A whole new level of pressure! Wish me luck!
