As for specials we have the glorious sweet treats blueberry & lemon or vanilla cake or something savoury more your thing then why not a classic rosemary focaccia or may a little spice with fennel & chilli seeds?

Love fresh oranges and their flavour in food of Sicily was wonderful from the gelato to candied peel and so much more. 🍊

This week as part of my Italian inspiration there is Sicilian orange cake where the whole fruit is used to pack in the flavour. 🧡

But thoroughly inspired by the vibrancy of streets becoming wonderful restaurants by night. Palermo does not like to sleep. ❤️

Supercharging the everyday dinners with goodness & variety…just needed to add koftas and wraps or flatbread to these simple but beautiful salads.

the labour of love community quilting project is joining us with textile artist Laura Johnson who is working with mothers to create the quilt and Lauren Eve is facilitating discussion & exploration on subjects around motherhood.
The project is funded by Southend Community Investment Board and the finished quilt will be exhibited at Metal in Chalkwell Park.

When there is a shortfall between food coming into the foodbank and the amount needed to pack enough to distribute every week we spend financial donations to buy essentials. We’re committed to giving food parcels that provide filling, balanced meals as well as offering basic toiletries, but this depends on kind and generous donations from people like you.
