I'm excited to share that my new heated under blanket has just arrived! 😍

Have you ever found yourself feeling too cold during a treatment, making it difficult to fully relax?

In my treatment rooms, I use a heated under blanket in addition to the room heating to ensure you stay at the most comfortable temperature throughout your session.

Clients often choose to start with the blanket on and then turn it off once they are comfortable. Alternatively, some prefer a cool table at the beginning and then request the warmth once their body temperature drops from relaxation. Many simply love the warmth throughout the entire treatment.

I had 4 beautiful days on a Pregnancy Massage course with in Brighton this past week.

Even though I already offer pregnancy massages, I’m always wanting to improve my skills and knowledge, and this course offered exactly that.

I have so many more moves that feels so effective in helping with common complaints such as lower back pain and neck and shoulder aches, as well as feeling grounded and connected with your body.

We had our first harvest of the year today, and decided to pickle them the Japanese way with rice vinegar, salt, sugar with some seaweed 🤩

A quick research on Google told me that leaves are nutritious, and has multiple health benefits.

I tried them raw and it was very flavoursome, but I do love the way I prepared them 😁

Hello, My name is Meg 🤗

I moved from Japan to Suffolk as a child, and have stayed ever since! Though my blood relatives still live in Japan, my closest friends and family are here, so this is where I call home.

I am a Clinical Aromatherapist working locally to Bury St. Edmunds and Leiston, trained and qualified by Neal's Yard Remedies in 2018. I hold a diploma in Aromatherapy and Essential Oil Science, and am a full member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists, insured by Balens, which has given me the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for holistic therapy and wellbeing.

I attend regular Continuing Professional Development courses which are regulated by the IFPA and other governing bodies, to update and upgrade my skills, because learning about something I love doing is a sheer joy!

"I asked a friend who has crossed 70 & is heading towards 80 what sort of changes he is feeling in himself? He sent me the following:

1. After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children and my friends, I have now started loving myself.
2. I have realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.

3. I have stopped bargaining with vegetable & fruit vendors. A few pennies more is not going to break me, but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.

4. I leave my waitress a big tip. The extra money might bring a smile to her face. She is toiling much harder for a living than I am.
5. I stopped telling the elderly that they've already told that story many times. The story makes them walk down memory lane & relive their past.

6. I have learned not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.

7. I give compliments freely & generously. Compliments are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment, never, NEVER turn it down, just say "Thank You.”

8. I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.

9. I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.

10. I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.

11. I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.

12. I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships, I will never be alone.

13. I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.

14. I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!

Why do we have to wait to be 60 or 70 or 80, why can't we practice this at any stage and age?

Look what came in the post this morning! My certificate for level 3 Sports Massage Diploma with a distinction 🤩

I took a summer intensive course at St Mary’s University over June and July. Normally you study this course over 4 months, but for the intensive one it’s only 5 weeks.

Trying to juggle it around work and life was obviously difficult. I had to let people down sometimes, but everyone was so understanding and supportive.

I really couldn’t have done it without all the lovely people around me. My friends, family, colleagues and clients. Thank you so much ☺️

Cleansing at the beach…

Sorry I’ve not been on here for a while.

I’ve just come back from Japan, and had a few days to get over my jetlag as well as trying to have some rest, get my energy back from feeling so rundown.

As always my time in Japan was simply manic, had no time to myself and sleeping on the sofa for 6 weeks didn’t help 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have a very busy summer ahead, and so really needed to just have a few days sleeping, eating and have my closest friends’ company.

So I am so sorry if you haven’t heard back from me to your emails and messages!!

I went to the beach to cleanse my crystals in those few days off, but I really just needed the sound of the waves, the salty air and feeling of the sand being washed away from my feet myself 🌊

I feel a lot better now and so will be back to work very soon.

I will be posting my availabilities for treatments soon but you’re more than welcome to get in touch if you want to book in before I do so.

Fundraising treatments for Ukraine! 🇺🇦

On this Mother’s Day(Sun 27th March), I will be offering some treatments to raise money for people of Ukraine.

The treatment on offer is Aromatic Acupressure Head Massage, and you can donate £15 for 15 mins, or £30 for 30 mins massage.

The treatment includes scalp, face, neck and shoulders massage, and for 30 mins ones, décolletage, arms and hands massage(unless otherwise requested), with a blend of your choice from 3 different options 😍

It will take place at Dolled Up in Framlingham, who very kindly offered the space for the day for free! This means all the money raised from these treatments as well as any commission made for any other treatments that day will be donated.

Everyone who takes part in this by having treatments will be kept updated to where I’ve donated the funds to.

This will make a very special Mother’s Day gift, you can book in for you and your mum together as well.
