Our Lionesses have been hard at work this summer, smashing pre-season training with a mix of fitness and skills sessions and welcoming some fabulous new joiners to the squad! 💪🏉

We capped it all off with a friendly match against Cheshunt Ladies Rugby to celebrate the grand opening of the Walker Suite at Letchworth Rugby Football Club - what a day that was! 🥳 Check out some of the fabulous photos from the match and a big thank you to Cheshunt ladies for coming.

As we gear up for the new season, we’ll be back in action on social media, sharing all the fun and excitement we've had over the summer, including some epic videos you won't want to miss.

With the Red Roses leading the way as the world's number one ranked side and a home World Cup on the horizon, there's never been a better time to get involved in rugby. 🌟 Our Lioness, Victoria Sparkes, showcased true leadership as she captained the Wooden Spoon Charity Hertfordshire Vets team yesterday. 🏉 Although the result didn’t go their way, we couldn't be prouder of Vicky and her dedication to making a difference through the Wooden Spoon charity. 🦁

Wooden Spoon is a fantastic organisation that uses the power of rugby to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children and young people. From funding projects to provide specialist equipment to supporting community programs, Wooden Spoon works tirelessly to create opportunities and improve the lives of those in need. 🙌 Let's continue to support Vicky and the incredible work of Wooden Spoon! 💙💛🖤

But all is not lost! After the success of our Lionesses Academy girls at the Hertford girls floodlit touch tournament, we're excited to announce that we have our U10-11s and U8-9s teams playing touch rugby matches at home against Hertford tomorrow from 11.15am! 🏉
