Academy for girls aged 14+ starting 26th July!

Opportunity to train with Letchworth RUFC - Ladies Lionesses and help them get girls feeding into the ladies team!

Fingers crossed next season isn't constant matches again for the mini's section so we can get back to driving recruitment for girls into the younger age groups too! Watch this space.

📣Calling all girls aged 14 and over, come and train with the Letchworth Lionesses! Offering a new rugby academy open to girls aged 14+ starting on 26th July. Have fun and make friends, all abilities are welcome and no experience is necessary.

You'll have the pleasure of joining the ladies' team training sessions but with coaching and specific drills for the 14-17 age group.

🗓️ Join us on Wednesdays from 26th July from 7.30pm to approximately 8.30pm

Well done to the Lionettes this morning!

They totally smashed training (mixed followed by girls)...even when they were tired, they kept going and had loads of fun!

In light of the news yesterday, of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Letchworth Rugby Football Club will be holding a 1 minute silence after training on Sunday at 11am, on the 1st Team pitch.

Please wear kit if possible or alternatively, a Summer Camp T-Shirt if you have one.

What a start to the new season! It was great to see quite a few of these t-shirts on the training pitches this morning, especially U7's & U8's!

We hope you all enjoyed your first training session and will be coming back next week.

Format for the girls:

• Girls will be training/playing in their mixed age groups
• When not away at a match, girls will have their own designated team training after mixed training (11am) and will also be supported by Letchworth RUFC - Ladies Lionesses when they're available too!
•U9+ will require gumshields for the new season as they start to learn how to tackle safely

First 4 trial sessions are FREE!

What a session!! Today's Summer Camp was pretty epic and everyone did amazingly!! We will share what they got up to soon! For now, well done to these ladies on their last summer camp session! Lots of fun had, certificates and medals awarded and friends definitely made!
