The Emergency First Aid at Work course is for one full day, between 9-4 on Monday. The full cost is £99 but we are offering a 10% discount on this.

The First Aid at Work course is running Monday to Wednesday, 9-4. The full cost for this is £225 and we are offering a 10% discount on this also.

We all know the feeling - you’re sitting at your desk and suddenly that blaring siren hits your ears. 'Not the fire drill again', you mutter to yourself.

You get up and make your way to the designated area for assembly (if you even know where that is), and that's where the knowledge stops.

Joking aside, the reality of the situation is that in the event of an actual fire, there may only be a small handful of people who know exactly what to do.

It can be extremely dangerous if you lack trained fire marshals in your organisation, and are unsure of exactly what to do in the case of a fire.

Even if you had some training on your induction, it's never bad to get some more in; it’s a brilliant life skill to have, protecting yourself and your fellow employees and understanding exactly how to calmly and safely lead people to safety.

Many employees are now back in the workplace and the restrictions have eased. Some organisations have opted to keep hybrid or remote working in place which is great for employee motivation, however, health and safety regulations and considerations still apply.

Irrespective of the working environment, a risk of injury or illness still exists. According to HSE stats, in 2020/21 there were 51,211 non-fatal injuries in the workplace. This highlights the importance of first aid training, as undoubtedly many of these would have required some basic medical intervention.
