TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

There is work currently being carried out on Station Road, therefore there is no vehicle access or direct street parking available to anyone attending the clinic this week.

There are 2 car parks nearby. One situated just off Durie Vale roundabout and the other at Greig Institute on Milton Road. Both are approximately a 5 minute walk away. There may also be some limited parking available on the surrounding streets.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately we have just been made aware of the work being carried out and this is out of our hands.

Is it just me or does this seem like a lifetime ago!!!! Scary time mentally and professionally but we’re still here to tell the tale!!!! Lets hope that we never experience anything like covid again in our lifetime!!

Just a heads up to anyone travelling to the clinic this week.
There are a number of roadworks being carried out in the area which are causing delays for those travelling to Windygates. Please allow extra time on your journey as appointments in the clinic are back to back.

Free on street parking, reception area, WC, free WiFi, hot water and central heating, tea/coffee and kitchenette facilities.

Electric treatment beds, chairs, sinks and storge space is available. Meeting area set up can also be arranged.

Entire space or individual rooms are available to rent on a daily or hourly basis - Weekday evenings and all day Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Did you know we also treat children and young adults here at Therapy Works?

Being physically active is great for kids but it can often lead to injuries, fractures and broken bones!

Breaks involve more than bones, the surrounding joints, ligaments, and tendons may also get injured and can sometimes take longer to heal. Our therapists can help improve range of motion and combat associated stiffness.

Most common injuries/pain in children and teens:
* Ankle injuries
* Pulled muscles
* Shin splints
* Knee injuries and osgood schlatter disease
* Tennis elbow (tendinitis)
* Hip flexor injuries

Kids often bounce back quicker than adults but the pain and injuries they experience should still be treated and monitored quickly. Even minor strains and sprains can cause muscle imbalance, lack of mobility and issues in later life.
