Nothing can beat just a lovely classic set of Highlights to brighten a clients hair.
Sometimes it doesn't need to be so complicated.

I babylighted to break this whole base up with 7 Level Lift +10vol from

And then toned the root for a softer grow out with CÓR.Colour 6/0+10vol and mid length & ends with 9/71+ 10vol.

A softer version of what she already had but broken up so that when her roots grow, they don't show.
Super longevity for the client 👌

◇Is this the right method for this client to have fitted?
◇Is my clients hair strong enough for this method?
◇Is my clients lifestyle suitable for hair extensions?
◇Will my client look after and follow aftercare advice correctly?
◇As a luxury service, do hair extensions fit within my clients' budget?

There are so many factors to consider when looking to train in Hair Extensions & offer them as a service to clients.
Always make sure that you are fully equipped for every eventually or have the support of someone more experienced as you get started with them.

The process from Blonde to Lived-in Bronde ✌️🫧

When this client came to me, she just felt her roots were showing in no time at all, and her ends were feeling dryer with summer approaching.
So we decided to take things down a notch and tone everything down and replenish the gold in her hair that is always lost when we lighten hair.

◇Applying 7.13 + 1% throughout her whole head to break her blonde up.
◇A Faceframe with 7 Level Lift Bleach + 10vol for slow controlled lift for clean results.
◇Applied 7.13 on root after washing foils out.
◇Finally toned with 9.71 Clean.Liquids.

Darker but not Dark 🤍👌

I say this alllllll the time!! A client may not want to be as light as they are, but don't go putting 5/0 allover their hair.

Match the root shade and blend that through instead for a much MUCH softer grow out.

I used
7/0 CòR + 10vol on the lowlight
7Level Lift + 10 Vol on the faceframe
Clean.Tone Platinum when washing

Blowdried using my brushes & dryer

Beachy Summer Brunettes 🧉👌
This is a Faceframing technique to create that pop of brightness around the front.
With a combination of Freehand Balayage around the sides and back to blend through.

Just doing my thing loving Blondes ✌️🤍
Using
Lifted with 7 Level Lift Bleach + 20vol on root.
Mixed with 10vol for min and end patches to even the lifted canvas.
Lowlight 9/0 +10vol.
Toned using Clean.Liquids 10.67 Ratio 1:2

10.6 & 10.1 equal parts + 1.5% Developer.

Using
6.13 + 10Vol on one side from root to tip.
Platinum card application on the other side using Clean Blonde Lightening Powder + 20vol on root 10 Vol on ends
Toned Twice.
So 1st toner was to pull on the orange out - Clean Liquids 10.1
Rinsed
And then to pull the yellow out - Clean Liquids 10.6
Styled using my
Straight Iron

Always get so confused with which toner to use? 😫
Stuck with what will cancel the orange but leave it feeling bright still?
Maybe it's yellow and not orange?
Maybe you've lifted it and it's now got heaps of banding?!

Now I'm not going to jump on the gram and bitch and moan about another Stylists work like some people do, to make myself look better.
However all I am going to say is please please pleeeease, if you don't feel confident in carrying out a service then just refer the client to a Stylist that can.
This is then actually a huge moment, a moment of growth as a Stylist.
Then research and learn if that's something you'd like to pursue.
And please, to all clients that feel that nerves in the chair when you feel like something may not feel right.
Stop the service.
Ask questions.
Or even ask for another Stylists opinion.
