We had a lovely visit yesterday from baby William, William is one of our domestic girls Maggie's baby. As you can see the residents were delighted to meet him! 👶😍

Our Summer Fayre this year is on Saturday 17th August! We have booked the fantastic Alan Turner again for our entertainment. Donations are now being accepted for our raffle, tombola, water & wine etc alternatively if you would like to hold your own stall please email us on [email protected]

On Good Friday we had our very own Peter Rabbit pop in and deliver our residents some Easter Eggs, and I have to say he was the cutest Peter Rabbit! All the residents loved him taking their eggs round! Our Baby Chicks left us on Friday but we are hoping to do the same thing next year!

Our Easter Raffle has been drawn, thanks to everyone who has donated and to everyone who brought tickets, we will update next week the total amount raised for the residents fund. Our winners today were our lovely residents Christine and Kath and then another resident Ellen & Keira one of our carers! They were all very pleased! From us all at Wispington House we hope you have a lovely Easter 🐣🐰

CHICK UPDATE! So overnight all of our eggs hatched and we now have 10 chicks!! we are going to ask our residents to name them! it looks like we have 5 boys and 5 girls. The shells have been removed from the incubator now and they will be moving into their brooder tomorrow morning and we can then handle them from Saturday onwards!

CHICK UPDATE! we have our first hatched chick!! one of our residents Christine has named it TINK and it is so cute! hopefully some more will hatch today!

We have some eggs in an incubator waiting to hatch! we should have some chicks hatching ready for Easter 🐣! We will keep you updated with their progress and will have them here until the end of next week!!

Just a reminder that our Easter Raffle tickets are still on Sale at £1 per strip! We will now be drawing the Raffle this Thursday 28th March and so tickets will be on sale until Wednesday of this week!

We have our greenhouse ready to use for spring and are looking for any donations in the way of equipment and plants etc so our residents can use the space to grow some plants or maybe tomatoes and other fruit / veg 🍎🪴

All of our Ladies got some beautiful daffodils to celebrate Mother’s Day yesterday. Some lovely pictures of our lovely residents! 💐

We Support our local college & students Lincoln College (UK) ! We have a lovely student at the moment who has been a huge hit with our residents 😊

We have had the most amazing visit this morning from our local primary school Saxilby C of E Primary School the year 2 children came and delivered some wonderful colourful cards that the children had made and personalised to our residents. The smiles on our residents faces said it all!

WOW!! What an amazing day for our Christmas Fayre & Party! Everyone had such a great time and we had a visit from Santa himself! We would like to thank everyone who helped out, donated prizes and joined us on the day. As always any events we do are to raise money for our residents fund and the Christmas Fayre was a great success we raised a huge £358.20 which is just amazing! Thank You once again, everyone at Wispington House wishes you all A Very Merry Christmas !
