Say a big hello to Bella Genney, who has spent the week with us on work experience!

Bella is a Year 10 student from Caistor Grammar School with a passion for writing and social media. She recently managed her school’s ‘Fringe Festival’ Instagram page and even secured a meeting with The Big Issue’s social media manager!

During her time at Shooting Star Bella jumped in at the deep end, gaining experience in a range of marketing and PR activities—from writing press releases and crafting social media posts to shadowing client visits and helping to photograph a client conference!

We recently had 16-year-old Henry Farnworth from Banovallum School in Horncastle join us for a week of work experience.

At Shooting Star, we are committed to nurturing local young talent and helping students explore their career options.

Henry said, "The short experience I’ve had at Shooting Star has helped put my mind at ease."

In support of our Charity of the Year, The Network, we’re taking on a challenge in the spirit of the Paris Olympics!

Throughout August, our team will run, walk, or cycle 420 miles which is the distance from Lincoln to Paris.

We will be setting up a just giving page to contribute towards a Discretionary Fund for The Network’s young clients, offering essential support in times of financial hardship.

This could cover a UCAS application, travel to educational open days, or access to mental health support and counselling.

Our Director Jez and Digital Marketer Jacob have been busy filming a case study at Mount St Bernard Abbey in Leicestershire for Beatson Clark .

The Abbey is home to the UK's only Trappist brewery where they produce Tynt Meadow beer.

Jez and Jacob had the opportunity to taste test the beer and even took a few bottles home!

We want to extend a warm welcome to our new Business Development Manager Sarah!
