So after leaving the uk on Tuesday and heading to Dubai on the wettest day on record we spent 52 hours trapped inside the airport with no communication from anyone at the airlines!
The first evening was spent queuing in a mad way (not like us English 😂) to get the flight changed, 4.30am we managed to do this! No offer of food or drink and all accommodation full
Then we eventually fly out on Friday morning at 7.30! 28 hours later.
Hurrah I hear you say! But alas, although we arrived our luggage decided to stay in Dubai and has still not made it to our destination! Our lovely taxi driver took us to a shop and we bought a few bits to see us through looks like we should have got a few outfits not one.
Shame on you Emirates and fly Dubai, I know you didn’t plan the rain and floods but your customer service was appalling!
Now to enjoy and relax with my beautiful Nata Yarwood and hope our luggage arrives before we buy everything in the hotel shop!
