Good morning everyone 😀 I’m writing this post with the biggest of thank you’s on behalf of Jane who is after 18 wonderful years in the shop going to be taking her well earned retirement. She would like to thank each and everyone of you for your amazing support over the years 😊 she will especially miss all her regular customers that she has grown so fond off over the last nearly 2 decades many of whom she considers friends diligently serving you all with a smile and a chat 🥰she would also like to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff we have had over the years both past and present that really make the windmill the special wee shop that it is 👌 I encourage you all to wish her all the very best in her retirement the place won’t be the same without her 😊 so from all of us at the shop we thank you ❤️

Well folks that’s a wrap on another successful community cafe run for this season , we had a wonderful 22 weeks all together of seeing you all using this amazing service every week and we are just all so proud of what a valuable service it’s become in just a few short years ❤️ I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the people behind the scenes who allow us to have this amazing initiative in our own wee community and that starts with our church’s and there volunteers who show up every week and deliver an outstanding service to everyone who calls in so a huge thank you to Emmanuel Baptist church , elmwood Presbyterian church and trinity Methodist church who have been fantastic to work with over the last few years 😁 I’d also like to thank all our amazing sponsors all local lads who love there community and love to help out at any given opportunity and they are S J Contracts Mike's Bike's GH Services Chat & Chill Cafe Ats us nai. and Stevie Kidd carpet and flooring I genuinely can’t thank all of you enough 💯so from everyone associated with the cafe we thank you and hopefully we will see you all again in October☕️🧁🥪❤️

Good morning everyone 😁 todays community cafe from 12-2 will be kindly hosted by the amazing folks from trinity Methodist church , sadly this is the last day of the cafe at trinity church but I’d personally like to thank Phillip , Wilma and Nigel for all they have done over the last 12 weeks without amazing church leaders and volunteers like them we simply can’t develop these amazing community projects ❤️

Good morning guys 😀 todays community cafe will be hosted in elmwood Presbyterian church on the ballymacash road the times are as follows from 10-12 they will have cafe reflections with hot tea and coffee also there are scones and buns 😋and from 12-2 they will have the community cafe with soup sandwiches biscuits cakes tea and coffee , don’t forget the community cafe is an entirely free service provided to our local community and as always a warm welcome is assured to everyone so why not call in and see the guys they would be delighted to see you 😁

Just another wee update to remind you all about the entirely FREE community cafe that’s starting on Monday, from 12pm until 2pm @ the Emmanuel Baptist church located just off the roundabout at Glenwood court 😁
Here, in Ballymacash we have several other amazing, ongoing projects that our very own community centre organise. The girls work tirelessly to bring these projects together, for the benefit of everyone in our entire community. I have enclosed the posters below for both programs and I’d encourage everyone that needs these wonderful services to get involved 💯. In my humble opinion we have the best community spirit in the country. We all go over and above to try and help those that need it the most, so please support these amazing programs especially during these cold and wet winter months we have ahead. Who wouldn’t appreciate a warm place with some beautiful food and an engaging conversation with friends and new acquaintances alike ❤️ 💪

Good afternoon guys sorry in advance for the unusually long post please take some time to read it and share it if you have a spare moment ☺️
I am absolutely delighted to let you all know the extremely popular, totally free to use Ballymacash community cafe we ran last year will be coming back 😃 this year we will be having our usual lovely hot soup and rolls along with biscuits cakes tea coffee and juice 😋 in addition to that this year we have teamed up with Josh Belshaw one of my closest friends and the owner of Northern Ireland’s “cafe of the year” Chat & Chill Cafe who will be supplying us with a fresh sandwich platter on each of our cafe days 🥪 as shown in the flyer below we will begin on Monday the 6th of November in the Emmanuel Baptist church from 12-2 we then go to Trinity Methodist Church on Tuesday the 7th of November from 12-2 and last but not least our friends at Elmwood Presbyterian Church will be hosting extended hours from 10-2 on Thursday the 9th of November with there own cafe reflections occupying the first few hours ☕️ I can’t tell you how happy I am we have been able to bring back these cafes especially during the difficult winter months we have ahead ❄️ I hope that you can avail of this wonderful free service that’s going to be running weekly until Christmas and into the new year everyone is more than welcome 🤗
last but definitely not least these kind of community events I simply can’t make happen without the kind support of the churches, volunteers and sponsors all of these guys go over and beyond in helping me bring these ideas to life and I can’t thank them all enough for supporting this unique initiative for the second year in a row ❤️
