People often ask what is different between Laksa, Tom Yuan and Prawn curry soup Noodles . So here is how I would describe them :

Prawn noodles : you will taste the distinct flavour of prawn . It is probably the spiciest among the 3 dishes too

Laksa : it is more aromatic compared to prawn curry noodles soup as the paste is made with a various of herbs and spicies.

Tom Yum : The distinctive flavor of tom yum comes from the combination of hot, sour, and savory elements. So it has this tangy taste that the other two don’t have.

I love all 3 of them ( I am biased , I am not gonna lie 😂) ! Which one is your favourite ? 😋

We have a little something to address today that we think you should know about.

So, it seems that someone thought it would be hilarious to call us from a private number and insult our amazing staff by calling them “a fat ugly b*tch” . I never knew prank calls is still a thing in 2023 ! 🙄

But here's the thing, folks: this is NOT cool. It's incredibly low class and downright disrespectful. Our staff works incredibly hard to provide the best service possible, and they don't deserve to be treated like this. You never know what someone is going through in their life. You think this childish prank call is funny but this can damage someone mentally and affect them severely , and that's something I won't tolerate. Particularly when I was told the caller did not sound like a kid but an adult !

We take this matter seriously. We've reported the incident to both the phone company and the police, because we believe that actions have consequences. It's time to put an end to these childish games. If you wanna play, then have some guts and use your real number .

Moving forward, we've decided not to answer any calls from private numbers. So, if you're planning on pulling a prank on us, sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not going to work anymore. I have taken many previously but this one is over my limit . I will not allow anyone doing anything to hurt our staff. We're here to serve , not to engage with negative energy.

To the prank caller who thought it was funny to insult our staff: please, find a hobby. 🙄 Life is too short to spread negativity and bring others down. We're all about creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere here.

It’s official name is in fact “Xinjiang Big Plate Chicken” and it is indeed a popular dish originating from the Xinjiang region in China. It is a traditional home-cooked dish that has gained popularity and recognition beyond the region.

This dish is a true fusion of Central Asian and Middle Eastern influences, offering a unique and delightful culinary experience. It is super easy and tasty to eat . The only difficulties you will have is to decide whether you want it with rice or noodles 🤔

At Bao & Bap we use succulent chicken thighs in all our chicken dishes because of their incredible tenderness and rich flavor. 🤤 But we sometimes receive questions about the pink hue inside the fillets, and we're here to shed some light on it! 🌟

Unlike chicken breast, which is known for its pristine white color when fully cooked, chicken thigh meat tends to be darker and can appear slightly pink even when it's perfectly done. 🍖 But why is that ?

Well, the pinkness in chicken thighs is due to the fact that they are considered as dark or "pink" meat. This is because the thigh muscles are utilized more than those in the breast, it contains more myoglobin, a protein responsible for oxygen storage in muscles, compared to the breast meat, resulting in a deeper pigment.
