We were devastated to discover that our beloved Chinese Lion mural was defaced last week. The artwork was commissioned by us and designed by local artists and has been a popular spot for passers-by and tourists to capture.

We initially attempted to salvage the piece over the weekend however, the people responsible came back a second time to deface it further.

While we appreciate the potential intention behind the additional markings, we don’t condone vandalism on small businesses and local artists’ work. It’s disheartening to see this happen, especially considering the effort put into the original artwork.

We’re exploring options to restore the mural and would love suggestions from the community on the best way forward.
