In 1685, Monin tried to mix a coffee drink with milk. He liked it so much that he began to offer it to his clients and even found healing properties in coffee with milk. According to him, such a drink did not coagulate in the stomach, stopped the cough and helped to cure the patient.

The name "ice coffee" first appeared in the 20s of the 20th century, when an aggressive marketing campaign for the drink was conducted by the United Coffee Advertising Committee in the United States. Later, ice coffee entered the menu of large fast food chains: Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks

The history of the origin of cacao says that at the beginning of the 16th century, a Spanish general arrived in Mexico and was treated to this drink by the leader of the local Aztec warriors. The general liked the drink so much that he took the beans and the recipe with him to his family.

It is believed that the Ethiopian ancestors of the Oromo people were the first to notice the invigorating effect of coffee. However, there is no direct evidence on this account, no evidence has been preserved about where coffee grew in Africa or who among Africans could have known about the existence of coffee before the 17th century. According to a widespread legend, the Ethiopian shepherd Kaldi was the discoverer of the unique properties of the coffee tree around 850. The late appearance of this legend (1671) and the lack of evidence of Kaldym himself make a number of researchers assume that the legend is unreliable. Coffee spread from Ethiopia to Egypt and Yemen. The earliest evidence of coffee consumption dates back to the middle of the 15th century in the Sufi monasteries of Yemen. From Ethiopia, the coffee drink spread throughout the Near and Middle East. By the 19th century, coffee had spread widely in Italy, Indonesia and America.

Glyase is a cold drink based on coffee with the addition of ice cream. A glass beaker or a wine glass is usually used as a dish.

Espresso is one of the most popular drinks among coffee connoisseurs. In Ukraine, this drink has been known for a long time, but rarely anyone prepares it properly.

Espresso has Italian roots and involves many traditions. For example, "saturated", "brightly expressed". There is also an assumption that this name arose from the word "express" which means instantly or quickly.

The most common translation of the word "espresso" is "squeezed" or "squeezed", since such coffee is prepared under a pressure of 8-9 bar, and hot water is passed (squeezed) through it.
