Had a Magic Time™️ recording the debut EP of the lovely .music. Many cups of tea were drunk, debates over the hierarchy of the humble (and not so humble) biscuit were had and instruments were played.

Finally got around to editing some photos from the session this past summer. He finally came back over from NYC after us working remotely for over a year, and we wrote and recorded vieques and dark rum over the course of a week. Additional vocals were then recorded by the amazing .

Last Friday I had my first gig back since the pandemic began doing sound for with and in the beautiful space that is - thanks to the team at the venue for the support, and everyone involved in putting on the show.

Live music is back, and it feels good. Get out there and support your local musicians and venues.

A simple but lovely set up from a session with Loris and the Lion at Eve Studios, with Joel Anthony Patchett engineering and Rich Bond Music from Wise Tree Studios producing.

It was used to lay down a synthy, shimmery sound with a bowed guitar - the Coles 4038 brought a beautiful smoothness to the tone.
