We’re big fans. The team have been sending out great coffee for years and we’re delighted to see their boxes sitting on our shelves.

| Core Memory: First experience of proper British nature and the garden shed that every grandparents house had. Full of tools that kids shouldn’t be anywhere near, and at that age the back garden seemed like a national park. A big apple tree at the bottom, with flowers, bees, bird houses. It was the first experience of somewhere you can go missing in for a few hours.
~
We’ve had a bit of a freshen up and we couldn’t be happier. It’s been 4 and a half years since we opened Wylde in Heswall, and it felt like a good year to change things up. We started Wylde, as Wild Coffee Club; very much with the intention to connect people to the outdoors, through our love for specialty coffee. We began with contour lines and coordinates, and we’ve now moved to core memories. Those standout things from childhood that without even realising, started planting those roots of appreciation we have now. In a world full of noise; as difficult as it can be sometimes, we try to choose the slower ways of living. Whether that be outdoors on a run, or indoors sipping a batch brew and working through some brunch.
~
Massive thanks to for the help on this. Lauren was incredibly patient with all of our indecision, changing our minds each day.

| Busy few days in flags, as the filming of a Guy Ritchie film’s been taking over. Don’t worry though, we’re still open! And heard John Krasinski’s knocking about. We’ve got a flat white waiting for him.

| A pretty special position has opened up, one that’s bittersweet for us. We’ll be saying goodbye to as she moves onto pastures new, but it offers the chance to welcome a new member onto the team.
~
We’re looking for a talented baker, who lives and breathes food & drink, with a specialism in baking both cakes and breads. We’ve got a small but mighty team here at the Bakery, so the successful applicant will be developing our menus alongside them and ensuring we can serve the people of Bebington, but also our wholesale partners.
~
If you’re interested in applying, or have any questions about job details, we’d love to hear from you! Just send your CV and a covering letter to [email protected].

| Out with the old, in with the new. It was an emotional goodbye to our original Marzocco Linea who opened the shop with us back in 2019 here in Heswall. Over 200,000 coffees later; it’s time for her to enjoy retirement. Of course, we stuck with the trusty Linea, but this time switched up the grinder, and got the team a PuqPress to give some respite to those elbows. Big thanks to Ben from for helping with the switch over 🙏🏻

Evening everyone, Jamie here, co-owner of WYLDE. I’ve not spoken about it too much on here, but I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon in 5 weeks now; and today was peak week of training with the longest run to date, so seemed the perfect time to throw a post out there! (What a beauty of a day btw?)
~
As many of you already know, we’ve had cash boxes in each of the stores over the last 6 weeks or so, and I have an online fundraising page (link in bio), both of which to raise money for two charities who deserve every penny. , who need no introduction; and , based here on the Wirral and doing proper community work to support anyone struggling. Needless to say, that support is more essential now than ever.
-
As uncomfortable as it is, I figured it’d be poor form for me to be raising money for mental health charities, advocating for men sharing the burden of their struggles without being transparent about my own. Not to mention I’ve barely spoken about one of the main reasons I signed up to the Marathon in the first place.
~
A few years ago now, I became unable to do the most basic things. Out of nowhere, I couldn’t tie my shoelaces, and had to make the switch to roll on deodorant because I didn’t have the strength in my hands for the spraycans. Eventually I couldn’t physically get out of bed. After many many blood tests, I received a pretty rough diagnosis.
~
I won’t go into the boring details on here, but for anyone interested in hearing more, I’ve added a blog post onto our website, just walking through the path I’ve been on since that diagnosis. Fast forward to now, I’ve come a pretty long way since then; and on the 26th May, I’ll be running the Edinburgh Marathon.
~
It feels like only yesterday, before these shops existed, I was living in Edinburgh and training for the Three Peaks Challenge I did with other co-owner Warren (In the pics); so it’ll be a pretty special full circle moment for sure.
~
It’s never a good time to be asking for donations at the moment! But if any of you’d like to; we’ll be fundraising right up to race day. A massive thank you to all of you who’ve donated so far, it’s means the world! Jamie

| Lemon, Caper & Nduja Hash. Little bit of heat to it, but not too much; saltiness from the capers; lemon to cut through it all; and jammy poached egg with sourdough to bring breakfast. Different in the best way.

Coffee for us is one of those rare daily rituals that will stay with us all the way through life; so it makes sense to ensure it’s good! There’s always place for experimenting with the almost overwhelming variety of coffees out there; but when it comes to that every day flat white? We like to keep it consistent. Our Housemartin Blend roasted by is everything we want from an espresso for our milk drinks. A well balanced, comforting blend of chocolates, caramels, with an almond finish to it. We serve Housemartin at all of our stores; it’s become part of us, so you’ll always know when you’re sat in a Wylde owned shop.

| // They need no introduction, one of country’s best roasters and some of the best specialty coffee out there. One of the key draws for us was their B Corp Certification; showing they meet the highest standards in environmental and social sustainability.
~
At the moment, you’ll regularly find them on our shelves or on batch brew here in Heswall. Over at our Exchange Flags site, they’re a more permanent fixture and we’re chuffed to be serving them as our guest espresso, as well as Batch.
