Apologies for the time away, I had an argument with a circular saw and lost big time 🤕🤕🤕

Before the accident my daughter had asked me to build a bar for her 18th birthday. I was pretty much out of action so, my father in law Ray stepped in on this build and I ‘supervised’.

This is a 10’ x 10’ structure with an 8’ bar. All the 4x4 posts are reclaimed and the corners are joined by square notches. The top of the bar is reclaimed scaffold boards and the shelf is walnut with an epoxy river. The bar is finished with Osmo wax oil and the roof is corrugated sheeting.

There are many variations to the outdoor structures we can create and I need to get out the house 😂. If you know of anyone looking for something similar, point them to our page or to our website for a free quote.

30kg of Vista Mariana resin
Grey tint
Laser cut steel legs, powder coated black and bolted to century old beam.
Finished with Osmo Polyx 2c wax oil.

Not my build, just needed some tlc. A good sanding, new teak stain and a polish.

So, we finally got this piece done. Who knew achieving the glass like coating would test my ocd so much. Lots of lessons learnt along the way but seeing the result was worth the head banging.

Electric blue, pippy oak, river console table - ready to be dispatched tomorrow. Legs are shaker style, made out of the same slab of oak. Finished with Osmo wax oil.

Pippy oak, sometimes called 'cat's paw' oak, is so named because of the frequent small knots and knot clusters which pepper the board. This is Barry’s kind of wood 🐱🐯🦁. Commission is for a river console table with electric blue epoxy and shaker style legs.
