What an evening - in equal measure fascinating and fun!
Valerie Bounds and I welcomed an eclectic array of business, brand and creative leaders to our dinner at the gorgeous Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. A truly sumptuous space - our private dining room took its design cues from 16th century Tudor architectural style. Our table evidently inspired by Arthurian legend and the Knights of the Round table!
We love nothing more than bringing diverse, interesting people together to create new conversations and connections. Mashing up backgrounds and experiences from different sectors to create new things.
And we love to explore the future with like minded people.
In fact at Aurora it's fair to say we thrive on building extraordinary creative experiences.
Rooted in our core philosophy......Stargazing.
Stargazing is a way of imagining the possibility for society and brands that is expansive and goes beyond the ordinary. When we look at the shimmering stars in the vast expanse of the night sky, it gives us a new perspective on life and work.
It’s about society changing thinking, creating connection with communities and culture and the zeitgeist to catapult brands into purposeful growth.
And in some small way, move the world forward. Never has such optimism and bravery been so vital.

On International Women's Day 2023 creative house Aurora put a global call out to young men to advocate for the women in their lives, to counter the misogynistic rhetoric flooding the internet. The no budget campaign quickly went viral across the World rapidly reaching over 10 million with 100s of men uploading their support, proving buy into the rhetoric.
We talk to influencer & social change maker Ashleigh Nugent to ask what the truth is, how & why violent narrative has taken hold, and how we can educate and empower young men from the grass roots to stand up for diversity.

The trustees are currently fundraising to add a statue of Mary Seacole to the empty plinth alongside that of Kitty Wilkinson.

Creative experience company Aurora are excited to reveal their new category-defining innovation in sensory brand.
After a full year of research where they engaged the greatest creative leaders across the globe, Aurora have quite literally captured the scent of creativity, and bottled it.
Creativity it seems is in your blood - or rather your pheromones. Some people excrete creativity when they are inspired, triggering a dopamine response in those around them. The creative pheromones are strongest from specific personality types; often those who become leading creative directors and who come up with World changing ideas.
‘We thought what if you could capture creativity and gift it to anyone, like a super power? What if you could actually fill a room with creativity?’ said Valerie Bounds, Aurora’s Chief Strategy & Creative Officer.
Working in collaboration with one of France’s most famous perfumiers, Maison Dragonaire in Grasse, FranceAurora managed to capture the ‘scent’ of the World’s most inventive and artistic people.
‘We asked the top 1% of creative minds from across the World to capture their own scent of creativity by sending up a sample of their sweat, taken when they were at their most creative. We then added their pheromones to the collective mix - a cauldron of creativity, if you will.’ said Dr Audrey Tatou, Dragonaire’s current master perfumer.
The team then proceeded to develop the unique potion of creativity containing chemicals from those leading creative minds - and to capture it in a range of perfume products.
Today Aurora are proudly launching their ‘Jus de la Créativité’ brand with a high-end Eau de Cologne, a scented candle and a room scent.
The recommendation is for all creatives across the industry to wear the scent to enhance their own imagination and ingenuity, and that of those around them. The candles and room scent can also be purchased to use by advertising agencies across the World.

We’re partnering with Brand Oath to bring the new brand they’re creating for FEL to life.
We got started by co-facilitating a super interactive workshop exploring the future comms strategy for the brand and their Active Travel Hub.

Earlier this week we hosted a very special Aurora VIP dinner in London with a truly wonderful and eclectic array of senior global leaders and thought leaders from the worlds of gaming, entertainment, technology, events, music and the environment.
