It is with a heavy heart and disappointment that we announce that The Brewery Greene King have unfortunately decided to put ‘The Raven’ up for sale and the pub will be closing on Sunday the 2nd of October.

This is a decision that is out of our hands, and we can only keep our fingers crossed that the new Proprietors at the pub will decide to keep it as a pub, so our local pub is not another casualty of the issues facing the way the world has been over the last couple of years

Greene King, Callum, Lisa, Diane and all the staff at The Raven would like to thank everyone for there continued custom and good times we have had over the short couple of years we have spent here. It’s been so difficult with COVID and the cost of living crisis. However it has been such a pleasure to run this fantastic pub.

It is not to late to support our small business in the last week of trade by coming down to see us! We’ve got our famous Kareoke with Mark this weekend.

I do hope that whoever chooses to buy this fantastic building does decide to invest and keeps it as a pub!

Definitely give us a shout if you need anyone to run it!
