An introductory course for absolute BEGINNERS to improv comedy. No prior experience needed.

This 6 week course introduces you to core improv principles such as:
How to be an active and responsive listener
How to embrace everyone's ideas
How to accept, commit and build scenes together.

Improv skills are hugely transferable to every day life, it can:
Build your confidence personally, socially and professionally. Unleash your self-expression, imagination and creativity.
Encourage you to 'be present'
Boost your mental health and wellbeing.
Develop your spontaneity
Enhance work presentations & public speaking skills.

An ENTIRE Saturday of improv fun
from 11 am to 9pm, 25 January 2025

With a full ticket, you get two back-to-back workshops with Chris Mead and Louise Croombs, totalling 5 hours of improv learning PLUS a jam in the evening at Caffi Isa Arts & Community Centre

You've got two choices:

1. Get a ticket to the whole thing---5 hours of workshop experience + improv jam in the evening, £70 plus booking fee

-good value for money, at £14/hour
-these teachers have so many wonderful things to impart and will come from farther afield

2. Get a ticket to either watch or take part in the improv jam from 7pm to 9pm, £7 plus booking fee

-get a pal/some pals to come see you do an improv jam with a thriving community of improvisers from the area
-show family and people who are curious about improv what it looks like and how fun it is!
